Last week i was thrilled that Pieratt's had a refrigerator that I wanted at an excellent price. I called the store to ensure that there were sufficient appliances available since i was unable to get to the store until late in the afternoon. I was told there were 2 machines and the salesman i spoke to ensured that in all probability that number was sufficient. Later in the day i stopped by the store and found that the machine was available from the sales person that approached me when i entered the store. I told this salesperson that I had spoken to someone earlier in the day. I asked if he was the one i spoke to; his reply was - these refrigerators were downstairs. I purchased the machine and we had to go back upstairs to finish the paperwork. Upstairs - I asked again if he was the person that i spoke to that morning....he didn't say anything but another sales man that was walking by told me that he had spoken to me. (I would hope that would mean they would share the sale - but am unclear about that). After the purchase was complete, i asked for a delivery the after 2 (in the afternoon) of August 7. I asked the delivery persons could move my old refrigerator to my garage. I was told that would not be a problem and that i was scheduled for delivery August 7 in the afternoon. At 9 am this morning (Tuesday august 7) I was called by the delivery person saying they would be at my house before 10 AM. I told them that the delivery had been scheduled for the afternoon and their response was - that either i took the morning delivery or i would have to reschedule for another day. So, I got on the phone and cancelled the 3 appointments that I had scheduled this morning. A little before 10 the delivery arrived. I asked them to wait - i had to lock up my dogs so they would not be in the way - and told them they would have to bring the delivery through the front door since the path through the garage and the laundry room was too narrow. So, secured my dogs and opened the front door. The delivery personnel entered, i showed them where i wanted the old refrigerator moved to and I was then told by the deliverers that I had to empty the old refrigerator (WAS NOT TOLD TO DO THIS BY THE SALES PERSON). I inquired if they were going to wait or did i have to reschedule. They said they would wait since they were leaving Lexington when they left my home. So i emptied the refrigerator - the deliverers then told me that they had to removed all the doors due to the narrow cabinet width in the kitchen. Eventually, we cleared a pathway and the refrigerator was moved through the dining room. Don't get me wrong - i am thrilled with the price of this refrigerator - however, i feel the remainder of the transaction was handled totally unprofessionally. 1) The salesperson that I spoke to on the phone should have gotten the sale. 2) Sales person (who i understand was new) should have known all the guidelines for delivery....a) date and TIME clearly were not entered on the order. b) no instruction on emptying the contents. Just spoke to the Pieratt's store....they registered my complaint but was offered NO compensation for all of the confusion and inconvenience that i endured - i.e. rearranging my day for this delivery (cancelled 3 morning...
Read moreOn 11/14/2020 I utilized the "Chat now/text" feature on Pieratt's website in search of The Nectar Mattress. I was immediately assisted with a salesman and he advised that the mattress in question was available to the Crossroads branch. He asked me for my basic information so he could put in an order and asked me if I was able to pick it up at above location. I told him that was no problem and I would head that way shortly. Here is when everything went downhill. Upon my arrival at the Crossroads location, I was greeted at the door and I advised that I was here to pick up a mattress that has been reserved for my by another salesman at a different location. The greeting gentleman asked the salesman's name that I dealt with, I provided it and he said that salesman does't work at this branch and he doesn't know anything about it. I then asked if he has any Nectar mattresses on the floor that I could look at before finalizing what I thought was going to be a breeze of a purchase. Instead of taking me over to the mattresses he pointed in the direction of them and walked off. I guess he was less than thrilled that he wasn't getting the commission off of my purchase. While browsing the mattress "department" boggled with questions, each salesmen was enjoying the benefits of the furniture watching football instead of helping me, a paying customer. I stumbled across what seemed to be a sales manager or some kind, began asking about adjustable bed frames. That was a nightmare. I had to literally ask that he look in his computer to see if he had anything in stock at the location I was at or the other Lexington locations. My girlfriend looked at me and asked if we were on Punked. This experience was far less than pleasurable. Finally, I was instructed to see the cashier where she found my order that the only competent employee was able to help me with. I got her paid and the mattress was rolled out to me and I was on my way. Kicker, this purchase came with a $399 accessory bundle for free. I was advised that they did not have any in stock but when they became available that one would be mailed to me within a reasonable amount of time at no additional charge. I followed up with this company almost one month later to see the status of this accessory package. I was advised that they still do not have any. I found that to be a little odd as it has been almost a full month so I reached out to the manufacturer. They are unable to help me because I did not purchase the mattress directly from them (Nectar). However, they were able to advise me that they definitely do not have a shortage of those bundles and customer's ordering directly from them are receiving the bundles when they receive their mattress. If you want to waste all kinds of time and get jerked around in every direction, shop...
Read moreThis lovely review has been a long time coming. I wish I could give 0 stars. The only reason I chose to go with this company is because the customer service USED to be top notch. NEVER AGAIN. We ordered a washer and dryer through Justin Tackett. I will say when I first called to place the order Justin acted like he could not be bothered and had to call us back. Being in sales for over 20 years you just don’t act that way to customers. I decided to brush that off. So the washer and dryer got delivered and my boyfriend tried to help with the install but the installer said no he got it. He turned our hot water valve in the wrong direction and broke it. When I got home we had no hot water. I reached out to our wonderful sales rep Justin Tackett and he said he wasn’t sure what we wanted Pieratts to do. This is his response. “I talked to the installer, and he explained that you had an o ring go bad which happens all the time. The installer explained this to your boyfriend, and left it unhooked so you or a plumber could fix. That's not something the Pieratts broke. I understand your frustration in not having working laundry (1 month) but we delivered your unit with in 3 business days of your order. No one is blaming your boyfriend, o rings simply wearout and once you unhook from one and break that seal and its worn out that's when it has to be replaced. Im not sure what more you would like for Pieratts to do.” I couldn’t believe they were blaming us!! I work in the countertop industry and know a lot of contractors, designers and residential customers as well. I have told everyone I know how horrible Pieratts is and about our horrible experience. My hairdresser said something similar happened to her and I see her review on here too. Now I just had a countertop installation done and guess what?! The Pieratts guy Dave that was supposed to coordinate with our template tech and install crew screwed up this lady’s entire island because they marked it wrong. My boss told me they are not taking responsibility. Imagine that. Everyone should go to Fergusons instead of horrible Pieratts. Thanks a lot...
