Iāve always loved Kennethās salons, but I will never go back to any of them after this experience. One of my close friends visited this location to have her hair colored for her WEDDING DAY. Lindsey was her stylist. Already being a very light blonde WITH HEALTHY HAIR, toning and touching up roots should not have been a difficult task. After the first session, the color was completely off and just overall did not look right. It had darker splotches and frankly was done incredibly sloppily and lazily, a home dye job wouldāve looked better. My friend was more than kind about the situation (upset of course, rightfully so, I think we all would be) and revisited to hopefully have them fix it in hopes that her hair wouldnāt be ruined for her wedding, considering she spent good money to have it done. During the second session, this stylist completely ruined her hair. Iām talking chunks falling out, brassy, a complete mess. My friend ended up having to visit ANOTHER salon (I should add she was turned away by one salon because her hair was so badly ruined by Kennethās that they wouldnāt even touch it) so they could fix it the best they could before her wedding day. Now, Iām very familiar with how hair coloring works and the chemical reactions and sometimes hair doesnāt react correctly, especially with blonde. It happens, and thatās okay! Itās unfortunate especially before such a huge event, but still, life happens. Whatās not okay is the fact that they refused to refund her when they completely ruined her hair to the point where she had to pay to have it chopped off by another stylist. At the bare minimum, they should have issued her a refund. Ruining a brides hair weeks before her wedding and not taking a bit of responsibility for it? Not a good look, Kennethās. My friend had beautiful long, blonde hair for years and ended up having to chop it and go dark just to give her hair a break so months later she is STILL having to deal with their mistake. What an unprofessional salon. I highly recommend taking your...
Ā Ā Ā Read more12 years ago my sister staged a hair intervention and told me to do something with my hair . I have heard good things about Kenneth, and when I went I was lucky enough to have Jessica as my hairstylist . She has worked with me to get my hair into a healthy state , in a cut that I think is attractive, and one that I can style. He even took the time to teach me how to style my hair because I had never done it before . I can't say enough good things about Jessica . I think of her as a friend who I trust with one of the most important features of my life. I am sure that anyone who goes to her will have the same experience that I have. Thank you very much Jessica for 12 years of great advice and contact , and many hours of friendly conversation. My hair will never look like my hair will never look like Blake lively or Ariana Grande, but I am very happy with it, and so is my husband. As long as we are happy with it, I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time I went to Skye I was growing my hair out for the first time in forever and asked for layers. And she did amazing (first photo). Then, a few weeks later I came back in to do a chop because I missed my short hair. She did such a wonderful job both times and really listened to me. I feel like myself again! Sheās very sweet and welcoming, you will never feel judged with Skye. I finally found a go to hair stylist.
For now Iām enjoying my natural color but her color portfolio looks so good, so if I ever want to change my color I will come to Skye for that as well.
Overall, Kennethās salon is very clean, has water and coffee available for guests, and they often offer coupons for different things which is always nice. I bought their elixir spray and it smells so good and makes my hair...
