2 visits in the same week and Steven seemed to be more interested collecting a paycheck for his cell phone usage. Very unapproachable and seemed inconvenienced to assist.
On our recent visit, we asked to use hit trax for my boys to try about 5 -7 hits with 3 different sizes To monitor drop in exit velo averages before spending $700+ on bats.
While Steven stared at his phone I climbed in there on each bat change to find the different sizes to use which took a moment⦠he said if the size wasnāt in there to swing then too bad basicallyā¦He then walked away. Mark the manager came up and said that we needed to ārap it upā. He said his associate stated we were taking too longā¦.and the cage isnāt made to just use without renting. I said Iām confused, weāre testing sizes. Mark told me to read the sign and itās not for use unless rented. He said we had been in there for too long. I immediately went off. You want me to rent this cage to verify the $700 + Iām spending on bats is being spent correctly?
In his role how would he even possibly think itās ok to approach a customer in this way? We had been there maybe 5 mins per kid. This includes the time I had to help myself in finding sizes.
Check cameras if you need to verify Timing.
Iām blown away of Markās demeanor when approaching me with this nonsense. I have been in customer service for years and would never blindly approach a customer in that way. I had a few choice words with him about how he handled this encounter in his roleā¦Especially coming from a role at the top of customer service leading a team of others.
Unfortunately you have a couple bad apples that donāt seem interested in your customer retention.
I am sure some kids come in and āabuseā the use of the hit trax cage but thatās doesnāt mean you disrespect everyoneā¦your team is only as good as your weakest linksā¦these 2 are a wasteful expense on...

Went on a bike ride later that day and the chain jumped off twice and the front tire was not true. Came back to return it on Tuesday because my hubby works late most days and I can't get the bike in my car. They told us that they don't do returns on bikes.. Said we signed a paper knowing this. Upon finding this out we read the paper we signed and no where did it say anything about returns. Also when we bought the bike no one said anything to us about not being able to return it other wise we wouldn't have purchased it. There was no one certified in bikes to be able to inspect the bike and tell that there was anything wrong so I was refused a return until someone could inspect it. "Said manager" was not helpful and argumentative towards us even after showing her no where did it say we couldn't return it on either reciept. She then had to call another manager to okay the return since there was no evidence of anyone telling or us signing their policy on returns. Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped in today to exchange a pair of unworn Brooks shoes for a larger size. After trying them on at home it was obvious they were just a tad small and wouldn't be comfortable to wear for long hours at work.
At the register, a manager was immediately brought up, and I was told the shoes have to be in new condition to be returned. This shouldn't have been an issue since they were never worn. Then manager kept telling me that I was wrong. After disagreeing with me several times, she finally said she'd take them to the back to try and clean them.
I waited 20+ minutes before she came back to the front with my shoes. She stated the bottoms were clean but there was a small spot on the toe. I again told her they had not been worn and she ignored me while putting my shoes in a bag (not their box I'd brought them in in). I told her I needed the box and she shoved the shoes in it before shoving it at me.
I drove 15 minutes to the next location and had 0 issues with the exchange.
I will never step foot in the liberty location again. Being all but called a liar and ignored is beyond...
