We recently located to Libertyville from the Indianapolis area- and we had the good fortune to sell our home furnished. We really did not think it would be difficult to purchase new furniture- however- it turned out to be a little more difficult than we realized. We had a large purchase from Steinhafels in Vernon Hills- however when we received the furniture it was damaged and had to be returned. What made the problem worse was the damage to our condo unit- floors were damaged as well as the common area- it was an awful experience as a customer. After trying to find replacement furniture- on a complete whim we walked into O'Reilly's Furniture on Friday evening about 10 minutes before the store closed. We had been at La-Z-Boy earlier in the evening and were just skeptical of the furniture buying process at this point. Then we met James- the store manager at O'Reilly's. He was incredibly patient and explained to us the different types of furniture O'Reilly's offered- we had literally walked in and walked out- however he took the time to explain the options- and wow are we ever glad we listened. He even stayed 90 minutes beyond the store closing to help us complete the order. We have purchased living room furniture and a dining room buffet- and waiting on two bedroom sets. I was very impressed with his willingness to help us given our previous situation- we really needed furniture as we didn't have anything in our condo. The next day the two delivery drivers showed up- and I was even more impressed. They were respectful and did not destroy our property and were very helpful in getting the furniture into the right spot. James and Gary O'Reilly have made customers for life- we are incredibly thankful for all of your help and most importantly your professionalism. Good customer service will either help (or sink) your business- and having a good experience from purchase to delivery is critical....

For the fist time in over a decade I was in the market for a kitchen table. During that period of time the furniture market seemed to have changed. In the past it seemed like you could get what I call a mid range table. Meaning one with a mid range price at mid range quality. Today however there only seems to be two markets. Low end, think IKEA, and high end for which O'Reilly falls into.

After conducting a exhausting search of all furniture stores I could find I came to the conclusion that not all high end tables are created equal. There were stores that want to charge a premium price for so-so quality. If you are going to pay a premium price you are best to go to O'Reilly's.

The quality is unmatched. The wood is thick, sturdy, and heavy. It breathes quality. The best part is in a day where a lot of furniture is purposefully weathered, or otherwise modified to meet a particular look, they can still deliver a traditional rectangle table with square legs. I wanted simple and they were able to deliver on simple.

Their staff deserves a special mention too. I'm not the type of buyer who walks in and buys on a whim. It wasn't until my third visit I pulled the trigger and every time Gary was there to give me his time and answer my questions.

They even go beyond what they owe the customer. I had stupidly did something which damaged my table after purchase. Totally my fault. I reached out to O'Reilly to see if there was anything that could be done, and they are sending someone to my home to see if a simple repair can be done. Again they owe me nothing after purchase, and are yet going the extra mile to help me fix my mistake.

So with that I give O'Reilly's the highest 5 stars I can. ...
