Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Little Rock

I came to Juicy Seafood with a party of 5 for my birthday. 3 of the 5 members of the party arrived early and were seated promptly. The gentleman who sat us then went to retrieve our server. Our server, Princess, however, was very clearly uninterested in being our waiter--we literally heard her tell the guy "no" as she walked by (I'm not sure if this decision was motivated by our race or the time of the night or what, but I'm a server, too--I know what refusing a table looks like). When she finally reluctantly came to the table, she flat-out told us that she didn't know what any of the drinks on the menu were. We kept having to explain that we were still waiting on members of our party to arrive before we order; she was trying to rush us out. The drinks took...awhile. I waited at least 15 minutes for her to come back and tell me they didn't have mint to make my Mojito. I ordered a Mai Tai instead. Another 20 minutes passed before she finally brought me a Manhattan--not even CLOSE to the same drink. Princess' was so thoroughly inept and unprofessional that I almost left a 1 star review. I was disappointed that I had selected this place for a birthday dinner and embarrassed that I had brought guests.

HOWEVER, while getting the fixed, our new server, Garret, came to the table. He was phenomenal! He checked on us frequently. He was knowledgeable and professional, assisting us with any questions we may have about the menu. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive; his service was literally the opposite of Princess'. On top of that, the food was great! Had I started with Garret, this would have been a 5-star review!

Because I work in the service industry, the quality of service I receive can make or break an experience. This is the perfect example of both occurring in the same visit. If you go to Juicy Seafood, ask for Garret (AND TIP HIM 20...

This was the worst service that I have ever encountered at a restaurant. It was my first visit to this place for my granddaughter's 17th birthday. Reservations had been made in advance. We sat for 1 hour before the waitress came to take our drink orders. We were told that we would be charge an 18% gratuity per ticket. I had no problem with that at first, until I had to wait 30 minutes before the waitress came back to take our orders. After 1 hour the food arrives and one order was wrong, but I didn't have any food at all. I ordered the Catfish basket, also not knowing that it didn't come with fries. Just thought that was a given for a "'basket". Anyway, I waited another 30 mins. with 1 small tartar sauce and no fish. I arrived at 8:00 p.m. and finally got my 4 small pieces of fish at 10:30 p.m. No drink refills. I didn't eat, just wanted my ticket so I could leave. The waitress refused to come back to our table. Because we requested the removal of the 18% gratuity. They only had one credit card machine and had a party of 30 other people they were trying to checkout. The manager finally came and apologized, but at this point she should have just let us go. Instead we had to wait on our tickets another 30 minutes. I spent a total of $70.00 and felt like I was being held hostage, I was tired, hungry and thirsty......I will never, never, never, return to this...

Let’s start with 1hr 40mins when we got our food. Food was cold. We got half the food we ordered with no discount per their policy. Asked for a Mai Tai and the waiter said it would take too long to get it. Went to the bar and got it in 10mins. Forgot everything we asked for, lemons, what sauce we wanted, and the charged me a bottle of wine for my one glass. It also took 42 mins to even get a server. The server didn’t understand anything we said. It was so expensive for such terrible service and cold food. People we walking out and complaining and even a fight was about to break out due to the service. We paid our bill and took our food home to cook to be able to eat it. Worst restaurant I have even been to. I did meet a lot of kind women there. All pissed at the restaurant. So after my husband posted these entirely correct reviews we we commented to please call “the owners” without any contact number and when we called the restaurant we were repeatedly told “they no available” we gave our contact information with no response. We asked for a discount due to the service and terrible food and was told no such thing was ever given. This restaurant really needs to be closed. I thought we would be reimbursed or a discount or some sort of effort but clearly they got our money and time and could care less. Seriously the WORST restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my 44...
