We recently had dinner at Pasta Flavio after hearing such raving reviews and all ai have to say is trust reviews and all the great reviews are right on point. We were more than pleasantly surprised after our dinner. We ordered multiple dishes including the fried calamari, which was absolutely delicious. The marinara sauce was exquisite and the calamari was fried to perfection with a very unique flavor and great consistency. We also ordered the chicken francese, chicken parm and chicken carbonara which werr both absolutely delicious. We also tried many more of their pastas, including the penne la vodka, alfredo pasta, and pesto ravioli. Everything was fresh and made to order. The flavor was outstanding. The staff are so kind and warm and make you feel like home. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, our food and our night and we would recommend this place to everybody that we know. You will not be disappointed because the chefs really know what they're doing and the warm atmosphere is everything. Best Italian food I've ever had in a very long time! Highly...

So happy we discovered this place and I went because of the great reviews. There were only a few other people in the restaurant so I want it to succeed because it was so good. Everything we had tasted like it had love cooked in. I had linguine and clams and my wife had chicken with vodka penne. Both dishes tasted very unique. The lemon in the clam sauce was fresh squeezed (Flavio told me when I asked about it) and the sauce was delicious. The vodka sauce had a very rich tomatoey base and light on the cream. It wasn't a "typical Italian restaurant" vodka sauce. You REALLY can tell the actual pasta is homemade. It's got a different texture and bite you don't get from a box. Make sure you ask for bread. It's homemade too. We had the pistachio cake and tiramisu for dessert. They were both good but the pistachio cake was the real winner. Also both homemade. Flavio, his wife in the kitchen, and daughter serving were there. We'll definitely be going back. Don't miss this local great find. Thanks for a great meal Flavio and family. See...

Not Italian owned! The owner got in touch with me via Facebook and stated he was from Sardinia and even used Google translate to text me in Italian. He did this to lure me in knowing that I was part of an Italian group where he advertised his restaurant. Not only is he falsely presenting himself as a "Sardo" but he goes to the level of lying to people from Italy to try to lure them into his restaurant which does not even come near the Italian culture. And the funny thing is I started speaking Italian to him when I got to the restaurant and he didn't understand the word I said . This is not discrimination. This is false representation! If you want more authentic pasta, go to Olive garden or any Italian restaurant that remotely resembles Italian food because this guy is from Egypt and he pretends to be an Italian saying he's from Sardinia even texting me in Italian language and I went there and I spent $30 and I got very sick on the food! Everything is a la carte. They throw in raw vegetables and cooked pasta. They charge you for...

I heard some good things about Pasta Flavio and the reviews are great but it is kind of far for someone from Bergen county. I swung by today around 12:30pm to grab a quick lunch. I found parking easily on the back. There were only two tables, one of which is a big party. It was not that busy. I was a bit suspicious. I ordered a small serving of meatballs and they tasted outstanding. I got excited and I ordered a chicken pasta dish. Boy, was it deliiiiicious! The pasta (freshly made onsite) is cooked perfectly al dente and the broccoli is crisp. While the neighboring table raved about their food, I asked them how they found out this place. These people said some of them came from south Jersey and Long Island (for a gathering in Livingston) and Google reviews took them here. They were just as impressed as I was. What a nice surprise today. I’ll definitely stop by if I am nearby next time.

Omg what a surprise this place was. It has 5 stars but not a lot of reviews so when we pulled up and saw the pink signs and small atmosphere inside, my husband and I got nervous. We each did a make your own pasta and we both cleaned our plates. I got the fusion alfredo with chicken and it was just perfect. The sauce was exactly what I wanted and the chicken was cut in small pieces so every bite I had chicken. The pasta was delicious and cooked perfectly. The prices might be high to some people for the location but in my eyes, when the food is good and it’s a mom and pop shop, I don’t mind paying it. The owner was so kind and so attentive even tho he was short staffed. Highly recommend!! We will be back

We were a group of 5 with a 5 year old kid. The mac and cheese is the best their kid has ever eaten, and she is PICKY. All our food was fantastic, the seafood was perfectly cooked, and I really appreciated being able to order a marinara sauce with pesto for my pasta. Also amazingly light and creamy tiramisu. It was so hard to leave anything to take home. And there were tons of vegetarian and vegan options! I can't wait to go back! I just wish I didn't miss the parking lot behind the restaurant on the first pass.
