We recently had dinner at Pasta Flavio after hearing such raving reviews and all ai have to say is trust reviews and all the great reviews are right on point. We were more than pleasantly surprised after our dinner. We ordered multiple dishes including the fried calamari, which was absolutely delicious. The marinara sauce was exquisite and the calamari was fried to perfection with a very unique flavor and great consistency. We also ordered the chicken francese, chicken parm and chicken carbonara which werr both absolutely delicious. We also tried many more of their pastas, including the penne la vodka, alfredo pasta, and pesto ravioli. Everything was fresh and made to order. The flavor was outstanding. The staff are so kind and warm and make you feel like home. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, our food and our night and we would recommend this place to everybody that we know. You will not be disappointed because the chefs really know what they're doing and the warm atmosphere is everything. Best Italian food I've ever had in a very long time! Highly...
Read moreSo happy we discovered this place and I went because of the great reviews. There were only a few other people in the restaurant so I want it to succeed because it was so good. Everything we had tasted like it had love cooked in. I had linguine and clams and my wife had chicken with vodka penne. Both dishes tasted very unique. The lemon in the clam sauce was fresh squeezed (Flavio told me when I asked about it) and the sauce was delicious. The vodka sauce had a very rich tomatoey base and light on the cream. It wasn't a "typical Italian restaurant" vodka sauce. You REALLY can tell the actual pasta is homemade. It's got a different texture and bite you don't get from a box. Make sure you ask for bread. It's homemade too. We had the pistachio cake and tiramisu for dessert. They were both good but the pistachio cake was the real winner. Also both homemade. Flavio, his wife in the kitchen, and daughter serving were there. We'll definitely be going back. Don't miss this local great find. Thanks for a great meal Flavio and family. See...
Read moreNot Italian owned! The owner got in touch with me via Facebook and stated he was from Sardinia and even used Google translate to text me in Italian. He did this to lure me in knowing that I was part of an Italian group where he advertised his restaurant. Not only is he falsely presenting himself as a "Sardo" but he goes to the level of lying to people from Italy to try to lure them into his restaurant which does not even come near the Italian culture. And the funny thing is I started speaking Italian to him when I got to the restaurant and he didn't understand the word I said . This is not discrimination. This is false representation! If you want more authentic pasta, go to Olive garden or any Italian restaurant that remotely resembles Italian food because this guy is from Egypt and he pretends to be an Italian saying he's from Sardinia even texting me in Italian language and I went there and I spent $30 and I got very sick on the food! Everything is a la carte. They throw in raw vegetables and cooked pasta. They charge you for...
