Save A Lot — Local services in Lock Haven

Great store if you don't mind buying generic brands, but you will find name brands on the shelves here from time to time as well. This is the only place I will go for my fresh and frozen meat and poultry items because the prices are lower and the quality seems to be better than that of the bigger stores in the area, not to mention the butcher here will take any request and cut/get you something fresh from the backroom if you request it. The only complaint and reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is only due to my local stores bathroom. It seems like everytime I have to enter, usually with a toddler, the floor is dirty and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned recently, and there's no diaper changing caddy. It's basically a toilet and sink, and makes it difficult to try and change diapers and/or pullups and not have to worry about a...

Save-A-Lot has some really good deals on groceries. Many items here are less expensive than other discount retailers. Some of their prices on meat are unbeatable. They also offer Pick 5 items for $19.99 on select frozen foods. The only concerns I have with this store is the price tags don't always match the item that they are near. The other concern is the $19.99 deal does not always ring up correctly on the register. Usually the Customer has to ask the cashier to do an override to get the correct Pick 5 price. Other than that I have no complaints about this store. They have great Customer service! Just remember to bring reusable shopping bags to bag your groceries, or you may have to buy them...

The hamburger that was on the shelf looked disgusting and there was no 85/15..when I asked for fresh hamburger in the kind I wanted there was nobody to get it for me Because "the girl had just punched out and had put hamburger out right before she punched out" after asking for the fresh 85/15 hamburger the girl that couldn't help me walked back to the cooler and began asking if I needed it now or if I could wait, and then asked if I could just get a different kind..it all looked gross so I would rather not..very disappointed Because normally their meat is all so good, and have never had a problem getting fresh...
