After attending a play, a group of nine of us headed to Public Landing for dinner—and what an incredible dining experience it was! First, the food was absolutely divine. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavor combinations were perfectly balanced. We each enjoyed something different, and not a single plate disappointed. We made sure to save room for dessert, and I’m so glad I did—my apple tart with gelato was the perfect sweet finish. Simply scrumptious! The ambiance was just as impressive. The cozy Italian brick decor gave the space a warm, inviting feel. Our group was seated at a spacious long table, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal comfortably. It was the ideal setting for a post-theater evening—both charming and comfortable. And finally, the service truly elevated the entire experience. Diane, our server, was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly organized. Although I forgot to request separate checks, Diane handled the situation with ease and professionalism. She quickly split the bill without any fuss, making what could have been a stressful moment completely stress-free. Public Landing delivered on every level—delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service. Im already planning my next visit with friends.

Note: I’m speaking only for the valentines day tasting menu. First off everyone was very nice, our server was very attentive. We went for a dinner for 2 on valentines day, we were sat in like a back room which was way too bright and loud, it was off putting for a romantic valentines day dinner. We started with a seafood cake (basically a crab cake) it was absolutely amazing. Second course was lobster bisque and an arugula salad. Both were also very good. The main courses were very disappointing, I had the pork chop, the flavor was good but it was overcooked very dry, same thing with the beans.. scrawny and dried out. The sweet potatoes were good but a little salt would have gone a long way. My wife got the flounder. The biggest issue is there were still pin bones in it, this is like rookie move for cooking, you don’t serve fish with pin bones in it period. The fish was also chalky maybe over floured, all in all not impressed. We had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, it was very rich but tasty. All in all i may go back and try a burger or sandwich but the dinners id probably pass on.

Zero star review. My husband and I made a 7pm reservation on 10/19 to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was fine until the entrees arrived. I order the filet medium rare but what I received was an extremely dry filet, entirely grey except for a slightly pink area in the center. I tasted the filet, my husband tasted the filet and we both thought it was awful. Our waiter came to the table, he was very pleasant and accommodating and took the dish back to the kitchen to be remade. Then, I assume this was the manager, came to the table and said "you didnt like your food?" I explained how the filet looked and that it has been brought back to the kitchen to be remade. His response was "you're gonna get the same thing so pick something else." He spoke to me so harshly, like I was personally attacking him for wanting my filet remade. He again told me I was going to get the same thing and pick something else. I said that I didnt want something else and he shrugged his shoulders, said ok and started to walk away. But before he completely passed my husband, he patted my husband on the shoulder, leaned down close to my husband's ear and said "you can finishing eating, sir." Needless to say, we were both shocked. My husband was not going to eat his food while his wife sat there with nothing and the manager refused to remake the dish that was ordered. We asked our waiter for our bill with the soups, appetizer and drinks and we wanted to leave because of the way things were handled. As we were waiting for our check, the manager came over, holding my husbands entree and in a loud aggressive tone said "now you dont like your food?" My husband explained that he was not going to eat while I just sat there, we wanted to pay for our appetizer, soups and drinks and leave. The manager said "just go!" My husband and I looked at eachother is disbelief that this was happening. The manager said "go, GO!" My husband and I started walking out and the manager stomped behind us all the way to the stairs, holding the plate like we were being escorted out. The way the manager behaved was a complete disgrace to...

We hosted our wedding reception here and had an amazing experience. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the history behind the area and building is very unique. We originally fell in love with the venue space and affordable package options but what sealed the deal was the food! The tasting that we went to was phenomenal. Everything we had was delicious! The provided a sheet to right down your favorite menu items and I just about wrote all of them down. We worked with Dana in the months leading up to our reception. She was always available to answer any questions we had, and was extremely flexible when we decided to move our reception to a later date over covid concerns. She was so helpful the day of the reception and she set up all my DIY décor just as I wanted it. It looked perfect! It was so nice to not have to worry about setting it up myself and that I could trust her to do an amazing job. She was extremely attentive to us and made sure I always had water or anything I needed during the reception. She also was a total lifesaver when our DJ just completely never showed up. She totally saved the day when she asked her entire staff if anyone had an adaptor for our phones so we could play music through their speaker system. She was able to find one and we were able to entertain our guests that way. I don't know what we would have done without her help in this situation. After the reception ended we were suppose to start cleaning up and I felt bad to ignore our guests but also needed to make it clear that it was time to go. Dana and her workers promptly helped us pack all our décor and belongings, which wasn't even part of the contract. She was so helpful the entire night and truly made our event so special. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy some amazing food or to host your next event you will not go wrong with...

My husband and I went here based on seeing some of the other reviews. I have no idea why I had such a different experience but there wasn't a single thing I liked about this place. We ordered the chicken egg rolls which tasted like they were sitting out for a while after being fried. Then we had the lemon rice soup...I tasted neither lemon nor rice. It was more like butter soup. We then had the prime rib and southern fried chicken. Where do I start with that? The prime rib had no flavor at all and there was no au jus served with it. How is a prime rib bland? The mashed potatoes that came with it were bland and cold. I've never turned down a mashed potato in my life, but I would not waste the calories eating that. With regards to the chicken, I was surprised to receive burnt chicken tenders (not the bone in chicken I was expecting) that were coated with the most terrible breading. It is hard to describe but it was like eating sand that tasted like butane. It was the worst chicken I've ever had in my entire life. KFC has better, cheaper chicken. We were going to order dessert but after that mess decided against it. Did I mention it took over an hour to get our entrees...we had prime rib and fried chicken, what could have taken that long? The service was ok, a bit lack luster. The mixed drinks were not tasty at all either. The bathrooms smelled like a sewer pipe backed up, which made me even more nervous of the food. We were given bottled water for some reason, which was strange to me. On a positive note, I will say the location is beautiful. The building and patio are very nice and we enjoyed sitting outside. We have already told some friends to avoid this place and we will never be back. Too bad because the place...
