It just seems so ridiculous to me but you can come into the Walgreens here and at any time of day not be able to find a single staff member ever. And when you find a staff member, they treat you like you are the worst person who has ever lived and that what you are doing seeking help from them is the worst thing that anybody could ever do to you. Not to mention if you're ready to leave and you're ready to buy the stuff that you are going to purchase and you go up to the checkout counter at any time of day during their long business hours, you can bet on the fact that you will probably sit there waiting for a good 10 or 20 minutes for a staff member to finally come up and help you with your purchase. I have actively caught staff members rushing around corners to avoid me or other patrons of the store. Somebody's got to fix this because I'm at the point where this is my Pharmacy and the most convenient place for me to get my things that are available at walgreens. But at the same time I end up wasting the most time at Walgreens because there's never any staff at the cash register, and you just can't ever find any staff in the actual store. It makes you wonder what they're all doing in the back because I've heard that they usually have like up to 7 staff per shift that are meant to be restocking or doing cash register or just be available and none of those staff are ever around. Not to mention that the place is usually filthy, the shampoos and other wet products are usually leaking all over themselves, I don't know who is doing the stocking but they clearly don't do enough of a careful job or clearly don't care about their jobs at all to make sure that the products are worth selling. Half of the Isles of hair care products or skin care products are literally just leaking bottles of trash. And they still put those bottles up to be sold. And I can't imagine that anybody is actually restocking the shelves because there's a lot of products that are literally just one of that product amongst a bunch of other singular products and you can tell that the shelves haven't been restocked for a solid week. Where is the basic management? Is there an owner of this location that does visits to see how things are going? This location is an absolute Nightmare and I would be embarrassed to have my name associated...

I was told by BRAG that Walgreens is the only pharmacy that can accept my mom's Medicare/Medicaid. Nearly every single time I've picked up my mom's prescriptions over the past three years I spend about 45-60 minutes going back and forth with their staff about the cost of her prescriptions. Usually I end up having to come back another day. With her coverage it should be at most $4.00ish per prescription, generally they hit me with a cost of over $300 for at least one of them. (She's been on the same meds and insurance for years, so why there's a battle about the cost every single time is beyond me). I get so frustrated about my monthly 1 hour battle with Walgreens that I'm nearly in tears every time I leave. The last time I was there I asked them are they absolutely sure that they are the only pharmacy in our area who can work with Medicare/Medicaid (I've asked many times but always pray for a different answer.) I told them I'd be willing to drive to any pharmacy within a 3 hour radius just to avoid their horrible service (and I meant it!) but they again insisted that they are the only place that can help us. I recently learned that this is NOT TRUE. I was over the moon to learn that we had ANY other option besides Walgreens. I would rather chew off my own arm than come back here for anything. I feel both lied to and incredibly incensed over the nonsense that this pharmacy has put us through. My mom cries nearly every time her meds need refilled because she's so worried she won't get them. The staff is always kind but they've never once got it right for my mom. Frankly I'm sure they're as relieved to be done with me as I am relieved to be done with them though.
But as a single adult and caregiver to a sick and elderly parent, I have enough stress to juggle without having to fight for the meds that her life depends on every single month. I pray I never have to come back here for anything.
P.S. Dan is adorable and so charming but even his sweet attitude can't redeem this dumpster fire of a pharmacy. I wouldn't wish this level of frustration on my worst enemy.
P.S.P.S, Rita with customer service is delightful and was the only person at Walgreens to ever offer any compassion for my situation....
