Why call even call yourself Check cashing... I found this place closest on maps, it was the first and only time Ive needed a check cashing service. It was a long weekend and I was in between switching banks and wanted some cash from my tax refund check that had just come in the mail. I walked in with my government check (which was around $1000 barely) and it was even in the original mailed envelope, and also my ID which matched all the name/address info obviously.

The guy at the counter saw my check and literally panicked looking at the amount! He asked me "when did you get this by mail" ?? He acted like I was asking to cash a billion $5000000 from an unknown source or something. He seemed totally UNAWARE that it is TAX REFUND SEASON, when everyone else is also receiving this EXACT SAME check in their mailbox. He said even though I had ID and everything correctly, he "can't cash it" and there is no reason except sorry. I asked for the manager, he said I am the manager. I asked for the OWNER, he said he IS THE OWNER (so I guess he was Nader). If you can't cash a measly $1000 tax refund check DURING refund season, with all exact matching ID and even with the original mail envelope..... Then WHAT ELSE COULD YOU POSSIBLY Offer check cashing service for?. Haha RIDICULOUS
