I used to love coming here to grab a perfectly cheesy Korean corn dog but my recent visit has been an extremely sad experience. My potato mozzarella stick was overcooked on the outside and yet somehow the batter inside was still raw. I think the oil they were using to fry the corn dog was set too high so the outside of the potatoes was brown and hard while the batter was still wet inside. The sitting area was also really messy. The tables and chairs were dirty and the surface of the tables were sticky. While the customer service was good, I was disappointed to find out that you cannot adjust the sweetness of their drinks. My friend and I ordered the mango peach and grapefruit orange drink and both were so sweet that I feel like I got a toothache from one sip. For how much everything costed, I would have hoped I could at least lower the sugar content. Another thing that factored into my disappointment was that the mochi donut, the main dessert they are known for, one of the donuts I received was overly soft and mushy. I couldn’t tell if it was raw or what was wrong because the other two donuts I got were fine and tasted great. Anyways, I don’t recommend the Loma Linda location, the parking is awful and the food wasn’t good, this place has really gone downhill the...
Read moreDO-NUT SLEEP ON THIS! Mochinut has a flavorful selection of Mochi Donut options that are a pleasure on the palate. I tried the Ube/coconut and original glazed donuts this visit. I liked both but, but the clear winner was the glazed (I could've had five more) haha. I also tried their grapefruit orange refresher and it was fine, i felt hydrated at least.
A mochi donut is essentially little lumps of mochi (Japanese rice cakes) formed into a donut shape and fried. The texture is chewy but tasty. I saw cool flavors like cookies and cream, almond, and more. I definitely want to return and try the rest. Oh and I guess they also serve mochi corn dogs too!! The place is a tad gimicky as the prices are bit overboard. For two donuts and a refresher it was almost $15 and that was just for me! I guess you're paying for a specialty item? The good thing is that the donuts taste good!
Loma Linda's Mochinut is definitely smaller than other stores I've seen. Thankfully, their is some seating and tables! The place was also clean which I appreciated. The staff was friendly, I was acknowledged and got my order quickly! This location is right off the 10 freeway on...
Read moreEXSPENSIVE AS HELL .....Parking Sucked one of the doors don't even open and customers are told to use the other door for that alone I almost left .... The Glaze need more Glaze on them donuts also they need to also carry what thay advertise outside to LURE people in 3 little donuts will cost you $9 bucks Krispy Creams thay ain't but the Donuts are FIRE 👌 😋 🔥 Staff needs to keep this place clean if thay knew who I was they would have had the place spotless but it wasn't. Floor were customers sit was dirty, tables, and chairs dirty, the TV vibe was cool but should have something relevant on like the news, or something that will keep people there to order more stuff. Here is a suggestion: Have your staff spend less time talking about there personal lives infront of there customers and more time smiling and cleaning the tables and keeping the outside watered and clean the smell from the streets is coming inside the establishment and that to me YUCK is a turn off.
I will be back to give this place another try and will update my...
