My husband and I have eaten at many Thai restaurants. This "hole in the wall" Thai restaurant is a gem! We stopped here on a trip as we were staying close by and decided to give it a try as we love Thai.
First of all, you feast with your eyes before you eat and they did this superbly with presentation and colors. The flavors matched the eye candy.
The salad that came before was unexpected and the dressing was really good!
This is in our top 3 places for Thai curry, which is what we both had. They served the curry in a beautiful china looking bowl and it just added to the array of colorful vegetables that went so well with the curry flavors. I had pineapple shrimp and the shrimp were large and had as many as a more expensive restaurants. My husband had a combination of protein and they had everything in it. He loved it! We usually like more coconut milk in our curry, but the flavors were so good, we didn't miss it, at all.
We had the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was the most colorful I've had. Purple rice, from a mix of black and white, with chopped mango and strawberry with the yummy sauce. It was excellent!
Oh, and the price?! It's a steal for the amazing flavor and quality of food. The owners were very friendly and we were glad to find this place. Go support them! You won't be sorry!!

Read moreThis place was AMAZING! We will definitely be back again. It's super cute on the inside, the staff was great and the food was really well done. We started with the Spring Rolls, which they really presented well. Outside of tasting great, the colors and how they put it together was really beautiful. My Mom had the Pad See Ew with beef, the flavors were excellent. Definitely one of the top we've had so far in regards to Thai food. I had the Massaman Braised Beef, it was out of this world. They added a cinnamon stick and that hint of flavor was the perfect touch to the dish. It was traditional but with a twist, and the twist was better than the original I've had in my perception. The meals were all beautifully presented so it was beyond just the food, but the presentation, atmosphere and service that also made it great.
I saw some other reviews stating this was not "traditional." In my perception after visiting Thailand, it tasted more traditional than other thai restaurants. Thai food in Thailand wasn't as heavy as the stuff they make out here, it was fresher and more flavorful. If you like the super heavy blander flavors, it's not going to be your spot. But if you want the taste of fresh Thai food from someone who clearly loves cooking, definitely hit this up. I'm from LA and this place has beat out all of our favorite spots...
Read moreI stopped by KYNN today while in town for business after seeing the nearly 5-star rating and positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype.
When I walked in, it was clear the place was undergoing some remodeling, but they were still open and accepting customers. I placed my order and noticed my Thai tea came topped with a foam that tasted more like coconut than the usual condensed milk—definitely not traditional and not what I expected.
Once I got back to my hotel and opened my Pad Thai, I was even more disappointed. The noodles were pale with no color, completely overcooked and soggy. The beef was flavorless and seemed to have been boiled, not stir-fried. The dish lacked the signature tang of tamarind that defines real Pad Thai, which made me wonder why it was even on the menu if they didn’t have the proper ingredients.
At that point, I didn’t even bother going back to ask for a refund. I left a tip and paid full price, but it was clear that the quality of the food didn’t reflect the cost. Sadly, it felt like this place prioritized making a quick sale over serving authentic, quality food.
I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here. I truly wanted to enjoy this meal, but it missed the...
