Letās start from the top. First of all, I know that your office manager or business manager will read this and send me some canned template response. You can save it and shove it because at this point itās beyond ridiculous. Anything you have to say is fake and phony.
Today I walked out because if I wouldāve stood there and listened to your sorry excuses, I wouldāve probably went to jail so instead, I walked out and left.
I made an appointment with Dr. Phillips this past fall for an appointment. I believe it was in February. I donāt know, doesnāt matter. Had the appointment for over six months. I travel over the road with my job so to take off for a doctor appointment and to lose a whole day of pay is very significant. you may not be able to understand that as you sit there in your cushy office jobs, but some of us, we just canāt take off willy-nilly, itās a big deal to arrange a day off and even bigger deal to lose an entire day salary. Again. Donāt expect people like you to comprehend and or care.
The day of my appointment about three hours before I get a phone call and a voicemail from I think her name was Diane. Whatever just blatantly telling me that they have to cancel my appointment. Please call to reschedule, Dr. Phillips had left the practice. Iām like are you serious? Did she leave that morning or something?! whatever but you can understand my frustration.
So when I call back and spend another 30 - 40 minutes out of my day, trying to get through to the actual office, not your stupid appointment Line⦠I believe āDianeā of course was unavailable Diane Debbie whatever her freaking name was. I think I was greeted by Kaylee or Kayla or Kim I donāt freaking know. All I know is she was rude. She was off putting , dismissive and she was not helpful. All she did was push back at me as if it was my fault and had the nerve to tell me that I was sent an email notifying me that Dr. Phillips had left the practice. That was a blatant lie. I was actually sent an appointment reminder the day before to make sure I went online and E register, etc. It wasnāt until I registered online that I guess you guys realize that I slipped through the cracks. Instead of transferring my care and getting me in right away, I have to wait another few months for another doctor that can see me. This is unacceptable.
Whatās even worse is when I called your patient care advocate / patient care representative whatever they are, all they do is pass the buck and give lip service. Once again, this entire āhealth careā system could care less about me as a person, as a human being sick and suffering, they didnāt care about my health and my well being.
I did end up going to the emergency room to seek care. Told to follow up with āprimary careā. Yeah. okay šš½
So I finally get an appointment, almost a month after a trip to the ER (only bc patient advocte āstepped inā) for today. Every correspondence I received said my appointment was at 10:30. I show up at 10:29. I had already registered online. only to be told that my appointment was at 10 and that I would have to reschedule. Things happen, right? OK for you guys to screw up and not take responsibility. Regardless , what happened to patient care, to empathy, to compassion. I was slated for that time anyway. why couldnāt you have seen me? Your doctor and her MA should be ashamed of themselves. Period. Doesnāt matter. We are mere cattle. And Only can discuss ā1 health concern and you have 15 minutesā. How pathetic!
You couldāve very well fit me in. This is unacceptable, bordering negligent. Nobody in the office will pick up the phone, you hide behind your desk and computer . Again, Iām just a number in a herd of cattle being milked for money.
At the end of the day, YOU Dr. Chekuri, YOUR shit āMAā and that entire office staff will experience this thing called karma. Hereās wishing youāre treated the same way Iāve been treated by this office.
Save your time and donāt respond. Donāt add further insult.
Now I understand why Dr. Phillips left...

Be warned: UCHealth "Primary Care" is a HOSPITAL masquerading as a primary care provider.
I dropped off a routine lab test at my primary care physician's office. Without any disclosure or consent, UC Health sent this basic test to their hospital laboratory for processing, resulting in an astronomical bill of $1,500!! Even more outrageous - I later discovered that the uninsured price for the same tests is a fraction of what they charged me.
UCHealth never informed me they would route a simple test through their hospital system, nor did they disclose the massive cost difference. This isn't just poor communication - it's a deliberate practice that traps patients with excessive bills. I've been forced to file complaints with the Colorado Attorney General and Division of Insurance, and am pursuing legal action.
UC Health appears to systematically exploit patients through their billing practices, showing complete disregard for transparency or fairness. They sent this excessive bill without warning or mercy, and have shown no interest in addressing these predatory practices.
FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH stay far away from UCHealth. Their actions demonstrate that they prioritize extracting maximum payment over patient care and honest...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this primary care and the quality of healthcare you can receive from this facility, my only complaint is the fact this is a UCHealth facility which means while you will get excellent healthcare, you will encounter things like Facility Fees.
If you have insurance like Medicaid, then you shouldn't have to worry about the Facility Fee charges. I'm not sure about other insurances though. Also, the Facility Fee charges are unique to UCHealth University facilities only. So, if you have a PCP that is a UCHealth physician but doesn't work in a university facility, I believe you can avoid that fee.
ADA accessibility is also VERY good in this primary care. The entry is completely accessible, as well as the lobby and patient rooms. They also have a chair weight scale to weigh any patients in a power/manual chair. The staff are very patient and kind as well.
Overall, the healthcare quality and staff are top-tier and if you're looking for the best, I'd recommend UCHealth, I'd just recommend having either decent insurance to go here or emailing their financial assistance department to lower the cost...
