My fiancé and I were shopping for some patio furniture and found Yardbird through a google search. We walked in, were immediately greeted and then shown the different areas of the store by a friendly salesperson. We looked around and found a set we really liked that was a little out of our budget, but also a little nicer than we expected to find. The salesperson explained to us that the pricing was a la carte and we could mix and match tables/umbrellas/chairs/benches. We asked about a bench in the color we wanted and were informed it was out of stock for the rest of the year...ok, but not a big deal. We decided on a rectangle table with 6 armchairs and an umbrella. Nope. Sorry, you can only have 2 armchairs. You have to order chairs without arms for the other 4. Basically they don’t have enough inventory to support a basic transaction. The salespeople we dealt with were all very polite and professional, but had to call or text to what they were allowed to do. Fast forward to May 2021, I saw an ad for Yardbird on the TV, the night before we were poised to purchase a patio set from another company. The furniture in the ad looked nice, so my wife and I decided to go to the Yardbird showroom in Lone Tree, CO, before we made our purchase. We were so impressed with the quality of the Yardbird sets in the showroom, we ordered our table and chairs on the spot. It took about (2) months, just like they said it would, when we purchased it, for our set to be ready to be delivered. Unfortunately, we were going to be out of town on the day they wanted to deliver the set, so we had to decline the delivery. It took another (3) weeks to get back around to us. So, my advice is, do whatever you can to be available on your delivery day. Read moreOverall, it had a good experience with Yardbird. I first found them online as I was shopping for an L-shaped sectional for my rooftop patio. I was slurped to find out there was a store close to Denver. I stopped at the store and tried out the couch I had my eye on. It was great to see the two different fabric colors in person and speak with a rep. I ordered it right in the store and it was delivered by a third party service within 3 weeks. It is super comfortable (I have fallen asleep more than once on it). My only issue was when it was delivered it was windy and chilly so the braces that hold the pieces together kept breaking so the delivery guy made a note in the system to have more shipped to me. I checked back with the store a few weeks later because I still hadn’t received the clips. They said they didn’t know. Clearly a disconnect between Yardbird and the delivery company. But I as a customer shouldn’t have to check up. For how expensive the furniture is you would like their customer service would personally call to ensure installation went...
