At first , the host gave us a friendly greeting, he then asked us to give him just a moment to check on the cleanliness of the table that he was about to seat us at because they were low on servers. A few minutes went by and we were directed to our table, and told that our server would be with us shortly. After what seemed to take longer then normal for our first interaction with our server, she told that us the co2 wasn’t working in the soda machine so all they had was syrup, we opted for water and the kids got strawberry lemonade. We were brought a basket of bread along with our drinks that was quickly polished off and were promised more by the same server. At this point we still had to order our meals but our server was busy with the bigger table behind us, it sounded like they were deciding on dessert so we waited patiently for our server to come take our order. About ten minutes had gone by without any word from our server let alone any others that were walking around us , I began to think that maybe we had picked the wrong day to come in. Eventually she came back and took our order, which included kids pizza, kids Alfredo, chicken parm pizza and a bacon bacon cheeseburger. Another long wait of no checking in, no basket of bread that had been earlier promised, for about 15 minutes. Finally, we get the kids pizza. Shortly after a new server comes by and introduces herself letting us know that she would be taking over the table for the remainder of the night and asks us to let her know if we need anything further. About 8 minutes later the kids Alfredo and the chicken parm pizza come out. After everyone’s taken a bite out of their food the new server comes back over and asked how everyone’s food tasting and sees that one of the meals still hasn’t come to the table. She walks away to investigate and I see she confers with the previous server about our table and walks to the kitchen. At long last, it arrives. First glance, I see a sauce that I didn’t know came on the burger all over the bun but I had waited long enough I’m going to just push through it. Couple bites in I began to feel nauseous from the mixture of sauce, over seasoning and raw (yes raw) burger meat that I’m trying my hardest to stomach and not alarm the newly seated table right next to us. Our polite new server returns and asked how everyone was doing, and if we needed refills, I told her kids were fine and I was getting ready to tell her about my burger when she quickly rushed off, so I waited for her to take the new tables order before I had the opportunity. I told her the issue , she asked if I wanted a replacement I denied it and she offered to remove it from the bill. Overall, the food was not great. The service was extremely slow. The first server was not very pleasant with us like I had overheard her with the other tables. Which I get it, bigger table bigger tips, but customer service is important. If you know your kitchen may be running slow and you have numerous tables, communicate… tell us what goin on don’t walk past me leaving my to think you don’t care about us as a customer . Which brings me to our second server who in my opinion did what she was supposed to do and handled the situation exactly as I expected it to be handled, which...
Read moreSaturday night was so wonderful! The anticipation had been building from the prior days as we knew that Cheesecake was in our future. We were greeted by the host upon our arrival. The aroma filling the room got us even more excited as we dreamed of the delightful Cheesecake sliding down our esophaguses and into our bellies. My nephew brought his Unicorn friend with him, and the staff was very accommodating and likely jealous of his furry friend. We sat down and were promptly greeted by our waitress for the night, Kara W. We ordered our sodas, and the anticipation continued to build as we could hear the carbonation bursting out of the glass and began to spark our cochlea’s. From there after receiving our beverages, we then ordered our meals for the night. I ordered the Orange Chicken. My nephew ordered deep-fried chicken strips. As we waited for our meal to be prepared from scratch, we devoured the sourdough and the Cheesecake Factory’s famous “brown bread.” The bread was exceptional, and the butter oozed and goozed with delicious flavor and was likely full of fat, which I love because fat is flavor. Our meal soon arrived! The orange chicken was jumping off the plate with incredible flavor! The orange chicken was exceptional! My nephews loved his chicken strips, especially after dipping them in the delicious Cheese Cake Factory’s honey mustard. Now the best course of our meal was ready to be ordered. My nephew chose the Oreo Cheesecake, a good choice indeed, and I chose the Celebration Cheesecake, as this experience was quite the celebration! I also ordered a cup of milk, to help me wash down the delicious cheesecake. The cheesecakes arrived, crowned with fluffy whipped cream! At this point, I was more than excited, my eyeballs were popping out! I took a bite out of the cheesecake, and all I could do was start clapping! The cheesecakes were the epitome of perfection. Fresh, delicious, and savory! Layers of delicious goodness, being cut, and delivered to our tastebuds for an explosion of flavor creating enough dopamine for me to jump on the table and start singing! The milk was so delicious and so fresh, I want to know if they have a cow in the kitchen and squeezed fresh milk just for me! It was safe to say, our experience was nothing short of perfect. Unfortunately, our time was finished for this night at the Cheesecake Factory, but a memory was made and will continue to live on! From the delicious food to a waitress who made the experience delightful, we were extremely satisfied, and would recommend this Cheesecake Factory to anyone ready to experience aw! Be sure to ask if Kara W is available, her customer service and her kindness made this experience a magnificent timeless...
Read moreIt's been 10+ years since we've eaten here, likely we won't be back.
We arrived at 5pm yesterday (Sunday) and were quoted about 40 minutes to get a table. We didn't get a text until 75 minutes later. We were not upset at that point, as we could see it was really busy. But then 10 minutes goes by after checking in at the host stand and still no table, another 10 minutes.....they just keep telling us a table will be ready soon. When I asked what was going on, one of the hostesses foolishly said maybe they called our name and we didn't answer. Umm no, all 9 of us were standing by the host stand. Finally, 31 minutes after receiving that text (almost 2 hours after putting our name in), I had to become a "Karen" and ask for a manager. We didn't even see our name slip at the host stand, so clearly someone messed up. The manager apologized for the wait and got us seated 5 minutes later, and offered to comp us two appetizers. Ok.
Then we order food. They're out of several things at this point: rye bread, fish, and brown rice. I had ordered fish tacos, so had to then decide on a new dish. I got the green chile chicken enchiladas, which were good until in my leftovers today I bit into a small bone. (Side note -- the rice and beans as the side were horribly bland; I didn't even eat them after one bite.)
It doesn't end here....I went into the restroom before we left and 3/5 stalls were completely out of toilet paper, and one toilet had feces smeared all over it. (Yes, I'm sorry for the visual.) I understand the dirty toilet is not the fault of the restaurant, but the fact that most stalls were out of TP tells me no one was properly maintaining/cleaning it.
I really think the restaurant should have done more given we had to wait almost 2 hours and they clearly messed up. Honestly we wouldn't have even ordered appetizers, so giving us those free was just ok. Mistakes happen, we're human....but take some accountability,...
