Since the beginning of the school, I keep getting hassled all forms such as getting pulled from class many times because the school management miscommunicates internally or they just need a signature, something can be done before or after class. I do need a day job to support myself as many other students so I asked to be a permanent evening session night student. And yet this is my third course I have to take at mid session because the school was not able to put me back to evening classes. I was upsold from Auto to Auto/ Diesel because I was told by the admission person, I can change anytime, it was risk free and wouldn't cost me anything. It Turned out it cost $100 to downgrade. I have been very patient with school but this recent issue has been pushing me over the edge, I was told this week that I failed a course back in early May and have to retake it. It has been 2 months and I wasn't notified by anyone, if this is not the school responsibility, why the students don't have access to grade. After many emails with no response I have to come to the Education office to see Joe, quite sometimes run myself around, I was told there 1 scenario in a Diagnosis Exercise I haven't completed in one chapter of the course, even though I passed all tests, attended all labs with 100% attendance. It was very unfair if that one technical problem failed me on the entire course. I am 100 percent sure that I completed everything but it's too far back for me to defend on my own memory. But just I right, when I logged in my IOL to finish up the last session in the IOL, I realized I don't have the badge for Chapter 1, further research I find out nothing in the chapter one completed even tho I completed them just last week, I even took pictures of the glossary on during the course, still on my phone dated July 1st (I attached one picture). That doesn't make any sense except the Blackboard is faulty.
1 of the only 2 restroom now made instructor only. Just a reminder that it costs $1700 each 3-week...
Read morePOST COVID - 90% of the work is done online through Google Classroom and UTI's online system Blackboard (which has MANY issues pre and post covid). The "hands on" portion of the class is a joke post covid. If I were 2-3 courses into the program and not 2-3 courses LEFT I would drop out. Don't waste your money because you will be doing ALL of your learning online - basically you pay $40,000 for stuff you can learn on the internet.
Good luck contacting anyone in charge regarding the curriculum - which went from about 60 hours per rotation (three weeks about 5 hours a day) PRE-COVID to about 10-30 hours per three week rotation (varying 3-2-3 and 2-3-2 schedules with random Fridays as days off for no reason POST-COVID.
Don't waste your time if you are trying to learn from scratch until COVID is done.
A FEW MONTHS LATER......
I have "graduated"........... No contact with UTI regarding the paperwork - I should have gotten an Associates Degree or at least some sort of out processing.
Add the fact that I have been trying to get in touch with UTI (Long Beach, CA) accounting with minimal response. I need to get a copy of the payments I have submitted for the sub-par education I have received Post-Covid, but no one answers the phone. I finally get in touch with the Accounts representative and I explain my situation - I made sure they had my CORRECT email address and I STILL cannot even get a record of what I have paid so far!
Again - do not waste your time OR MONEY with this place - you will get screwed

Read more1st of all I’m making this review as a veteran student. A lot of veterans at this school makes me feel at home. Graduated June 2024 and I did Auto the BMW fast rack AND collision I’ll keep this as short as I can and simple. If you’re not a veteran using ur benefits, this school isn’t worth it go somewhere else with a cheaper tuition. As far as the auto side it’s decent good amount of instructors they know their stuff. The online work is tedious and doesn’t help us as most of us are hands on learners l. As far as the BMW fastrack that was great when I went there was only 2 instructors so don’t miss class but u get a lot of knowledge regarding how the BMW manufacturer works and it’s all hands on pretty much. As far as collision don’t bother waste of time very few instructors so if u miss a course or life happens you’ll be forced to take a leave of absence until it starts again which happened to me three times and was very inconvenient and I felt I learned a lot but it’s just a lot of info to take in at once. Don’t worry bout the dress code it’s reasonable. The people upstairs like student services and accounting and nice but hard to get a hold of most the time. Other then that it’s an ok school but if you can’t afford it go to community college. I had fun here and learned a lot but there were times when I felt I was getting screwed over in terms of getting into a class I missed so that can be...
