Boardwalk Fun 'n Games — Local services in Long Branch

I visited the arcade and as I was paying at the kiosk for the game card for my kids the male employee came over to turn the sign that mentions there are games that aren’t working. I looked around and saw some games were off. I believed those were the only ones that were “broken”. I paid $32 I believe for a game card for the kids. As I walked around I noticed most of the games more than I thought would be out of service. Probably about 90% of the games are not working ! Some of which were on and the lights were working. I tried to explain this to the employee but it seemed as though he didn’t care as if there was nothing he could do. I left the unused card and the manager Brian called me and said there’s nothing they can do as they are in the process of obtaining a license. This place needs to be closed down it’s not fair to the people. If the manager fixes this issue I will update. I encourage those affected to file a division of consumer affairs complaint. Absolutely disgusting place. The machines scams people 2x the amount when buying credits. Sketchy to begin with, they have note cards that are hand written that tell people about fraud on them…. Tried to ask an employee to check the cameras near the entrance and to verify our REAL amount we wanted. Suddenly the cameras are not able to capture it. Continued to gaslight the situation into believing it’s not their fault (their own machines) and said the credit card number matches up….. of course it does, our account got charged more than what we had originally clicked for. Lazy and incompetent business. Unfortunate for any consumers or young staff members who want to work here since the employee at the front said that his OWN manager is basically to selfish and unreliable to handle any negative constructive criticism to see the wrong in the situation. Avoid this place at all cost. Much better things to do at the beach then this place with 5...

Just wanted to start out with my girls would have given this place 5 stars if there was no mishap! Earlier today my wife and 2 little girls came in to play some games. She explained that while they were waiting to redeem points a man with face tattoos visibly ignored them and showed no interest in helping out. Apparently whatever was on his iPad was more important. Flustered, my wife was about to leave without their prizes... but a nice young lady with a nose ring helped check them out. She is the only reason I'm giving you guys 3 stars, because it left a sour taste in my wifes mouth. He needs...
