I am really annoyed with the Lake Mary facility. I was evaluated by their plastic surgeon to get A procedure done early in April. I was told that the dates for the surgery would be May 8 or May 15. When they came back with the quote the quote was $4000 over another part that I had received of another plastic surgeon. Without looking at my quote they quoted me $6200. I was ready to get the deposit that day but they took forever, and I am a business owner, and a very busy person. I had to leave that day without being able to do anything. Nevertheless, I got the ball rolling with all the paperwork and the labs that needed to be done to clear for the operation. However I found it very frustrating that both my doctors office office and Gold Finger Aesthetics could not communicate accordingly to get the correct lab order for me to get the pre operating clearance that I needed. I finally got everything together and was able to go to my doctor two days ago to get my labs done. Then I received a call from Karina requesting that I send her the quote that my other plastic surgeon had given me. I sent it to Karina and Karina came back saying that because it did not have the exact verbiage (mini tummy tuck and lipo-other quote said mini tummy tuck with skin and fat removal) that they could not honor their quote and now they needed to add $600 more to the cost. How do you make a quote without seeing the other quote and then not want to honor it because the verbiage is different? I think that the procedures with this office in Lake Mary have been very unprofessional. Not only that, but they were unable to get the proper paperwork to my doctors (it took like 4 attempts). The paperwork that they sent was by email was incorrect and had to be sent back several times as well. After talking to Korina and explaining I had been the patient coordinator in the past for a plastic surgeon, and expressed how amazed I was about how horrible their paperwork and procedures were handled, she expressed that some areas of the center were still pending for approval for operating. No wonder I went three times to try and make my deposit and had to leave because I waited forever in the waiting area to be assisted. I guess Iām lucky because I would have been out $500. Everything happens for a reason and Iām going to move forward with the previous surgeon. At least I already had my labs done. Itās not about the money... $600 more is peanuts... but I am in the service industry... and this service was clearly deceitful. Not only did they loose me as a patient, but I will be taking my future fillers and Botox procedures elsewhere as well. I do not recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy plastic surgeon recently operated on me out of the LM Goldfinger locationās surgical center. I met nurse Kaitlyn when I walked into OR just before surgery and she was the best part of my experience there. Her kindness, compassion and sweet caring nature really made an impact on my experience. I have been terrified to have this surgery since my first of many consults beginning 10 years ago so Iāve put it off. Mostly because of the anesthesia and never having had surgery before. Any business can have the most beautiful facility, the latest tech but with the wrong employees none of it matters if the experience is bad. Though my time was short w Kaitlyn, she was SO compassionate and caring and rubbed my arm and looked me in my eyes and assured me everything was going to be fine and Iād be waking up soon as the CRNA pushed the anesthesia. In recovery she was patient with me, encouraging me and again, compassionate and understanding. She is a gem! I just wanted you to know personally what an asset she is to your practice and what an impact she made on my experience that day!! While most of my time was with a different nurse that day, Kaitlyn deserves to know what a difference she makes!!! She blew away anyone else I had an experience with that day, all because of her attitude and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRe: This is how little they evaluate a woman's time and worth. What horrible experiences with Dr. Young's office. The staff lied and cancelled my appointment, WHILE I was in route from DeLand. Days prior, my staff scheduled 1/2 the day off to accommodate my appointments (a of loss 15 patients). They did offer to reschedule me to the evening. I accepted. I arrived 10min late 5:40pm ... driving in a HORRIBLE thunderstorm. This time, no call from their office; I couldn't answer it anyway due to the aggression of the storm. Upon arriving, the office closed 20min ahead of schedule. I just lost 4hrs of my patients' appointments for nothing. Sadly, their staff thought only $25 off my next visit was even close to acceptable; an elitists accessment. This is how little they evaluate a woman's time and worth. After lying about the reason for Dr. Young's leaving, and then apologizing for being caught in a lie, I have no faith in the honest physician/patient relationship that needs to exist. PS: I reached out two times...
