I have no complaints about this hotel what so ever, however, I will give a honest heads up to someone who is looking for more of an overnight or weekend stay versus an extended stay. The pool at this specific location has been filled in with cement so if you’re looking to swim you have been misled, it is not the Hotel‘s fault. I honestly blame Google for still not updating this on certain websites because this has been done many years ago. A small downfall is having to pay for extra linens. It is a very small fee. Also, you are not provided with kitchenware but it can also be provided upon purchase, but if you’re looking to do any cooking, be sure to bring your own this includes cutlery, as well as plates and bowls, etc. There are multiple types of rooms available every one of them have kitchens. You have open floor rooms as a usual hotel would, of course with your choice of different size beds. They also have one bedroom suites available that have a bedroom with a separate door that closes and all of those are complete with a pull out couch. they are pet friendly for the most part. They will not bother you at all if you have a pet, but it is always ideal to inform the front desk to avoid any hassle. The rooms are as clean as expected, especially if you are a frequent extended, stay guest. You usually know what to expect. The specific location also closes at 10 PM to which they close up the front desk usually there is an after hours attendant to let you in if you need to check in late, they have a phone in the front you can dial from. Considering that you are in the middle of two other hotels, the area is very quiet and there isn’t a lot of excitement going on outside or any distracting or disruptive noise, especially considering you are on the side of i4 there are words that separate the hotel and highway. I am a frequent guest at this location and I have yet to witness any type of ruckus is going on outside which can be the case at the hotels in a lot of the surrounding cities here. The staff is always more than friendly and helpful and quick to cater. Best of all the rates are cheap especially considering the fact that you have space and a kitchen you can get a full week and a suite usually between 400 and under $500. Best of all there is absolutely no deposit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay a little bit longer or who is maybe in between housing. If you are fortunate enough to be attended by Cora at the front desk, she is a delight. Very sweet, very helpful and accommodating. I have never had any issues with this hotel! Thank you for...
Read moreRoaches and Spiders and Gnats! Oh My!!!! Do yourself a favor and turn around in the parking lot! Keep scrolling! Don't stay here! Have I made it clear? Due to a booking issue at another hotel, we found ourselves looking for a place at 11pm. I had seen this listed on all the major booking sites and the pics looked great and the prices seemed reasonable... Now that I'm here, I don't know howblong ago these pics were taken or maybe even what other property the pictures were hijacked from, but it couldn't be more of a lie. The place it filthy! From the moment you walk in the doors you see unkempt conditions, but you'll probably be immediately relaxed by the strong aromatherapy (Marijuana) filling the hallways... on every floor. If you make it past that, and it later in the evening, you encounter the most stupid and unconventional "reception" practices you've ever seen at a hotel! The closed window has a sign that reads after 10pm you need to use the "red phone" for immediate assistance. LIE. My children and I had to sit on dirty luggage carts while we were told to go on line and make a booking, then we would be assisted. I did that because I felt like a subpar parent for the late hour and already one botched reservation elsewhere...eventually a young lady came out to the outter foyer and let us in. Finally once we got to our room, we found 1 super small bistro table that was broken and 1 very stained office chair placed at the table. The chair has years of food ground into the fabric! The pullout love seat had no linens at all, and they finally have me some but all were covered in African American hair, like it had worked its way into the weaves of the towels And sheets. After making the beds and the kids showers, I got everyone in bed. I was feeling quite dirty so once they were asleep, I went into the dark bathroom to shower myself. As soon as I flipped the light on... you guessed it a few Roaches went scattering! I killed 2 and while wiping that mess, I found and endless supply of hair, lots caught in old spider webs in the corners. There is also months worth of toothpaste splatter on the mirror. Gross, not worth a...
Read moreLake Mary, Florida is my hometown and somewhere I feel safe to stay. Anytime I return to Florida I stay in the area, but generally across the street at Hilton’s home suites. This is my second time staying at this hotel and with two bad experiences, I won’t be back. While driving down this trip, I called and inquired about adding a night to my stay, as I did not want to wait from midnight to 4 pm the next day to check in, as I was arriving earlier than planned. I was told since I used a third party I needed to contact them, which I did. 2 hours after booking my room, I arrived and for the second time with same hotel, my reservation was cancelled. How? I didn’t even book until midnight for that same day?!? I had just spoken with someone?!? Fast forward to check in. They sent the lady down to activate my stay after explaining I had called in and just added the night two hours prior. The Asian lady at check in could use some training on customer service. She was very rude, not welcoming and I was ready to just leave and now I wish I had. I continued to walk to my room and the smell is terrible in the hallways, elevator and rooms. I got my room where I had booked a suite with two beds and a pull out couch and what do you know, no sheets, blankets or pillows for the pull out for my kids. I made a reservation for 4. Why not sheets? Pillows? And, the blankets are more like wrinkled sheets, but the kids have NONE! Are these people for real? And, they mention full kitchens with all the stuff you need, but alls I have is empty cabinets with stickers inside that mention the kitchen supplies I don’t see? The entire hotel is gross, aged, stinky and not worth at all what I paid. My last hotel appeared like all furniture had been chewed on by a dog and the barking on my floor never stopped. Two bad stays! And, I still have 4 days to go just checked in an hour ago. Management-do better! This place is less than attractive and reminds me of my parents home in the 70s. For $600 for 5 days Yea, I’d be better off at a pay by the hour…probably cleaner and less smelly and supplied with the things mentioned when booking...
