This review is for their overpriced flower arrangement workshop. It was an overall disappointing experience. The cost is not cheap, around $100 each person so my group came with the expectation that we will learn more about flower arrangement or have some take-home advices or tips about flower design by the end of the day. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. The instructor multi-tasked during our class, which is very disrespectful and unprofessional. After a brief introduction, instead of giving us her opinions of how to make our arrangement look better or checking our work progress, she turned her attention to the bouquet order she was working on. She stayed silence most of the time and got busy with her own little project. There was no teaching after introducing the flower and so It was more like a self-learning process where she was just sitting there and gave us what we need upon request. We received no information other than the flower’s name, the water level it requires generally (as we asked), and the way to cut the stem. We could have easily google that information for free without her telling us. The class was essentially she throwing us the materials and let us do our work on our own with zero guidance during the process. As to the materials, she provided us a flower form, a white simple base vase, some non-fresh looking flowers including green grassy hydrangea, pink spray rose, bear grass, craspedia, and chamomile. The outer part of the rose were already turning light brown. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, OUR FINAL PRODUCT DID NOT LOOK GOOD OR LAST LONG. NEVER RETURN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND...

I am so happy and grateful that a florist like this exists within this neighborhood. When I first went, it happened to be on their opening day. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and I ended up getting a beautiful dried rose arrangement within an enclosed vase (picture below). As part of their opening promotion, I ended up also receiving a handmade bouquet!

More recently, I went in for a wedding bouquet. I knew I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Kathy was the most helpful and detailed in putting together a custom made bouquet! She was very patient and understanding through the whole process, and did a very quick turnaround for me (I needed it by the next morning and she had it completed in less than a few hours).

What left the most impression for me, however, was beyond just beautiful arrangements and efficient service. After I picked up the bouquet, Kathy even let me borrow a vase from the store to carry it in with water so the flowers wouldn’t wilt. She simply trusted me to bring it back and showed the most courteous customer service.
