Beware of this restaurant, especially if you’re going there for the evening happy hour or with a big group. Plus the food is pretty terrible. It is much too salty and looks much better on the menu than it actually tastes. The only item I ordered that I actually came away thinking was decent was the hot and sour soup. It is truly among the worst sushi I have ever eaten.
We arrived with a big group and were told that they were only willing to divide the check 3 ways. No excuse for that! The restaurant was not crowded at all. It makes it much easier on customers wanting to go as a group and pay for their own orders to just process them separately. They didn't even end up dividing our table into 3 checks correctly. Paying the bill was confusing and difficult for us the customers as well as the staff due to this ridiculous policy.
Another major issue is the falsely advertised "happy hour." It sure made for a miserable hour for us. On their website, it says that there’s happy hour from 3 to 7 and from 10 to 1145. Right below there’s a link to click for the happy hour menu. I ordered off that menu thinking that I’m going to get happy hour prices but apparently that’s only for the daytime happy hour. Why is there not a separate link for the evening happy hour. Or why is it even a separate menu for the evening happy hour? This is a big scam likely to trick customers into going there in the evening so that they can get swindled like we did.
This was an unforgivable unacceptable restaurant experience. I definitely will not be going to this...
Read moreGreat location, great food, great scenery and prices are not bad at all for the type of restaurant it is! I waited about 30 minutes to get seated after I got there for my reservation, and asked for a table on the outside with the best view… the view alone was 10/10!
The thing that ruined it all for us was the service… the waiter we had was cool but just didn’t give us the attention and service that you would expect from a restaurant like this especially when you have to reserve seating a day in advance!
I not only had to pour my own water but was given a used bottle of Evian water that was luke warm! I asked for two sodas a fresh bottle of water and a beer on draft. We never received any of them and we started to eat our food while we waited for the waiter so I can ask for our drinks, but to our surprise he never came! I flagged a gentleman down with a button up explained what had happened… he verified me soda was ordered 20 minutes ago same time as the food and never received them! I got the coke and beer for free but money wasn’t the issue I came for an experience and it was...
Read moreI visited this restaurant on Friday April 27th for a date. As we walked in; friendly staff welcomed us and showed us to our table.
The server was very attentive and took very good care of us. We started the evening with some cocktails, I enjoyed a martini while my date had a sangria. Both delicious!
For our starter appetizer we ordered the pork dumplings(my first time having them) which were delicious! Followed by our main dishes (Young Chow Fried Rice and Chicken Curry.)
My favorite was the Young Chow Fried Rice, had lots of meat and shrimps and the perfect blend of seasonings! I wasn’t a fan of the curry because it looked like a heavy chicken stew(thick/pasty texture) rather than a light runny curry.
Overall I loved my dinner date, and food was delicious! I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to visit once again.
PS; The reason why I didn’t give a 5/5 stars was because my martini was served in a broken glass. When I asked for a new drink they simply transferred my drink to a different glass(which was warm and made my martini...
