Generally I find the staff here to be nice. And unlike so many other CVS and pharmacy especially. They actually pick up the phone. And follow up and call back. And will expedite your order if it saves you a trip and call your insurance to negotiate for you or get approval for early refills before vacation, and the humans and the phones and the systems link to the app. It's fantastic relative to the rest. There was a horribly miserable and unprofessional pharmacist one day. Mean, angry, rude, bitter and trying to close 12 mins before closing time telling the 2 people in line (who would have been served in 4 mins) to go away! And they made a mistake billing my wrong insurance and I spoke to her by phone and she told me to come down before closing because she would have sorted it by then. But she forgot and cuz she wanted to leave early she was telling me to take the meds even though it went through on an insurance card no longer valid - insurance fraud i guess - opening me up to a potentially huge bill from BCBS at some point. And she was frustrated with ME!!! Another time the pharmacist wouldn't give me my prescription meds of 6 painkillers after bone grafting and nasal reconstructive dental surgery which was PAINFUL - telling me i shouldn't be taking them (a 2 days supply) - and I'm thinking "Who the hell is this? Can this pharmacist override and refuse to issue me a brilliant surgeon's medical treatment for pain? Does she have a say in my health care team's decisions? She has no idea what I've just had done! And speaking to me like I was a junkie with a forged prescription!" Odd! But - 2 encounters in 4 years is nothing. They are a great team and a very well run branch! Read morescheduled a phone consultation where the pharmacist was supposed call me to discuss treatment of a very serious illness (😷!) and these people didn’t even have a record of it. Had to call the pharmacy myself and the pharmacist was apparently new there and had no access to their systems. So why was she even there? Beats me! But now, after wasting a whole day of precious time on them, I have to venture into hurricane weather tomorrow with this very serious illness that’s now getting worse to try and schedule a different appointment and pick up this prescription. Oh — and did I mention they charged me $60 for the consultation? That didn’t even happen?? Yeah, you’re supposedly charged even if you don’t get the prescription, but in this case, I didn’t even have a consultation with anyone of value and now I’m down $120.
