At first glance the store looks intriguing. Wasn’t even looking for myself but for my fiancé and she needed help finding certain dresses. No one checked on her or asked her if she needed help. Maybe it was too busy. No one greeted us. I’ve read past reviews how the store is “particular” about their customers. And I didn’t think anything of it. I tried asking this one girl I couldn’t catch her name. But I was probably 2-3 feet away from her so pretty close distance from her. I asked for her help politely. But she didn’t acknowledge. It felt like she completely ignored me. Again I’m giving the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was busy? I’m not sure. But I did ask another girl for help. Now she was very helpful. Again if only she had a name tag. All I remember she was blonde and had glasses and short. She was respectful and helpful. Helping me find a dress that was on display on a mannequin. So I thank her for that. Then as my fiancé was trying on dresses she asked if the store can hold dresses for us. The employee girl said yes. And then I tried to ask her how long could the store hold the dress. And again I felt completely ignored. Again maybe I was not being clear or loud enough? Maybe she was busy. I don’t know. But I immediately felt like I was ignored again. I try not to let these things bother me. But if anyone reads my review just be aware and be prepared. All im saying is if your busy just say “yeah sure I’ll help you, give me one second”. At least I then understand your busy and I’d be willing to wait. It’s a store I’d like to continue to take my fiancé to find outfits. But some employees did not make me feel welcome. Oh and there was a gentleman there. I guess he was a gentleman but probably one who is in touch with his feminine side. I could be wrong and I do apologize if I addresses them incorrectly. All I remember they had Pacific Islander/asian characteristics upon first glance. Again I do not know their background and I apologize again. But my fiancé also claimed she was rude to her as well. I did not see it but she informed me. Again if you read this review just be prepared for their employees. Nice store, and I’d go back but again not for certain employees vibes...
Read moreLet me start off by saying I shop here SO much and absolutely love their clothing. The reality is, at times some clothes simply don’t work out and you have to return or exchange. Aritzia is known for their strict return policies and tbh I was hesitant to return some jeans that simply didn’t fit right for me once I tried them on at home because managers beforehand would still give clients a hard time even after the fact that was explained. BUT I want to say it was a refreshing experience yesterday with the associate who helped me, Victoria. Not sure if she was a manager or not but she definitely displayed leadership qualities and should be if she’s not already! Simply put, she understood the value of a customers experience, honored the return and was empathetic about wanting the customers to me happy. She was gracious, polite and warm. In the long run THIS is what counts and keeps customers coming back. Thank you...
Read moreI’ve never had such a disappointing experience at an Aritzia before. One of the employees was aggressively pushing through crowds without saying “excuse me” or offering any apology. He even forced his way past my younger sister who’s still a child leaving her feeling shocked and uncomfortable.
What made it worse is that this attitude wasn’t limited to one person. Most of the staff seemed dismissive and rude, acting as if customers were inconveniences instead of guests. There was zero professionalism or courtesy anywhere in the store.
I genuinely used to love shopping at Aritzia, but after this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. It’s really disappointing to see such poor behavior from employees representing a brand that claims to value...
