These reviews must be bought. Prior to posting bail, they were persistent with phone calls, but once I paid my money and signed my paperwork, I received no phone call or email verifying that bond was posted.
When I called to ask what was going on with the bond (7 hours later), the woman who answered the phone was rude, she was cutting me off and telling me that she couldn’t help me or answer when I should head down to pick up my family member. I reiterated to her that I was not expecting a specific time, more so, a time frame, bc my family member has a disability, and I need to be there to receive him, so he is safe.
Her excuse was that its my responsibility to call them, and that it is not their job (bc they don't have time) to contact clients in order to let them know bond is posted. She also explained that she doesn't have time to communicate with me the bond process every step of the way.
Im sure if I stopped paying, they'd have all the time in the world to call and email.
While I have no expectations for the necessity of a bail bond in the future, if I do, I will not return to this company, nor would I recommend them.
My agent, a male, was courteous and professional, its the woman who answered the phone later in the day that ruined this...
Read moreI am so grateful for Bail Hotine! Being in an unanticipated and unfortunate situation like one needing bail, is stressful, scary and the beginning of further serious issues, i.e., criminal charges, court dates, attorney fees, etc. The last thing one needs is someone judging or making things difficult from the gate. Bail Hotline was every bit of comforting, non-judgmental and willing to work with my family's financial status. Their assistance gave us the fortitude needed to push through the next steps of the process. You can tell they are serious about the nature of their business, but shows the human kindness and connectedness needed when working with clients. Unfortunately, yet, fortunately, I have have to utilize their service in more than 1 occasion and due to their willingness to be flexible from the beginning, it enabled us to pay off the bail and remain in good standing. I really appreciate them. THANKS BAIL HOTLINE...IF YOU...
Read moreI was ready to hang up the phone and wait and let the person's dad bailed him out but then the person at bail hotline told me' oh well you can start the process now and then when they get out you can have them sign it over to someone else's name and get your name completely removed from the bail'. I would have never put my name on anyting had she not lied to me and told me I could relieve myself of complete responsibility & it over to someone else. And then I call over the phone and ask them about the same process and they told me yes I can go down there but I have to literally drive from Lancaster down to LA and physically sign the paperwork still failing to tell me that no matter what my name is not going to be permanently removed that paperwork is only so they don't contact me anymore but I'm still liable for all the payments on everything regardless if they get someone else to sign or not. A bunch of...
