Terrace Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I attended a relative’s party at Terrace Restaurant and initially enjoyed the food—it tasted great, which is why I decided to purchase a meal for my kids to take away. However, I was extremely disappointed with what I received for the $41.89 I paid. The meal was supposed to be a combination kabob meal plus a side order of falafel. As shown in the photo, the portion size was shockingly small: just a few small pieces of meat, a modest portion of rice, minimal sides, and only four pieces of falafel included in the side order. What makes this even more upsetting is that, as a courtesy, I left a $5 tip on top of the already high cost. While I appreciated the good taste of the food, the portion size and overall value were completely underwhelming. For $41.89 (plus tip), I expected far more in terms of both quantity and presentation. I sincerely hope the restaurant reevaluates their pricing or starts providing portions that reflect the cost. This experience has left me disappointed and unlikely to recommend this venue for...

Positive👍: The place looks very nice and accommodates indoor and outdoor sitting. Decorations and the look of the place is more elegant outside than inside as lighting adds to it. Waiters/Waitresses are attentive and work hard to accommodate. Not Positive 👎: Food is awful. Perhaps to those who are not as familiar with the type of food, it may be delicious, but if you know Mediterranean food, this would get 2/10. Food was served so late (11:15p) we were already full with bread and appetizers, which were by the way, way less than what is served some other places. Imagine a colorful small plate barely tinted by thin layer of hammus or babaganoush...Music is ok if you're interested in hearing 98% strong bits of Armenian. I was hoping as the name suggest to hear a balance of Persian-Armenian-Arabic... I had to place several request and the singer finally agreed to play "ONE" more Persian musing. Please understand my point - Mediterranean means mostly Mediterranean, not Armenian...

Very bad service the person that supposed to be our waitress after brought the appetizers didn’t care to come back and check on us if we need something so we stayed with empty glasses , and they don’t really come to ask when you get on the table if you want a package order or individual orders just brought the appetizer and more of the bread so eventually you are not hungry when it comes to the main dish 3 kabab with 3 grilled tomatoes and a small plate of rice. The way they made the package $35 per person is unbelievable. You pay for single small dish of appetizers that are for everyone and one single plate of 3 pieces of combination Kabab with meat that wasn’t even cooked enough. There even was no dessert included in the package price neither they offered one. On top of everything the bill was overwritten with more of the alcohol we ordered.
