We held my sisters wedding dinner at EuroAsia and had an amazing experience. Half of us were Ukrainian and half of us were American and we all had an amazing time renting the banquet room. The food, entertainment (the restaurant provided singer), and the service was all above excellent.
All the officiants and servers (Marina and her team) provided outstanding service. Every single one of our requests were met. This included placing our tables exactly as we wanted it and providing us great recommendations. The service during the event was perfect as well, it seemed as though anything we needed they could do. For example, my sister is pregnant and requested some chicken main dish while we were eating appetizers. The server came out and asked what kind of dish she wanted (chicken kabob or other options) and quickly brought her a portion just for her. This is just one example of the amazing service. Even one of the servers even printing a speech for me, going above and beyond.
The serving team made us so comfortable throughout the entire process and went over our expectations.
The food was amazing, every dish was deliciously cooked and everyone (American and Ukrainian) complimented the food. There was so much food and so much variety for everyone! Compliments to the chef!
The restaurant provided us an excellent singer who served as a master of ceremonies. Ilya asked us for some idea what kind of music we wanted, and we reminded him we are Ukrainians. The singer made sure to include a lot of Ukrainian songs, even singing in Ukrainian. He did a great job getting to the dance floor - and everybody danced together for HOURS (Ukrainian/American/all). He dedicated songs to my family members, including my grandma. He did a great job with the playlist and even took our requests. Highly recommended.
Overall, 10/10. This is our second time hosting a large event (50+ people) at this restaurant and both times were very memorable and we reccomend this restaurant to anyone who wants to throw a large event for their...
Read moreFood is good enough. Size of portion is ok. Waiter was pretty knowledgeable, but there was something confusing during this visit. After me and my mom, who was visiting LA at that time, already sitted and made an order, stuff started to prepare some banquet at the same room and it was very noisy! They behaved like there were no customers at the cafe at the moment. A women (I think she is an administrator there) and few other waiters loudly moved the chairs around us, put plates and cutlery on the tables and talked to each other like there was nobody in the room except them. My baby started crying because of this noice and I have to ask them to make a pause and continue preparing this banquet in 5 minutes, cause we are already leaving. This lady said ok ok, but continue preparing the banquet. It was weird for me as a customer. I prefer to be in another atmosphere while having my lunch. This cafe have outdoor seats, but nobody proposed us to change a place. I already finished my dish and my mom was still waiting of her order. 50 minutes of expectation of her chicken was tooooo long. It seemed to us that chef just started catching the chicken after we made an order... I asked a waiter where is our order, he said that it takes 30 minutes to cook this dish but we were waiting for around 50... For those who have just 1 hour for lunch it is inadmissible luxury to spend 50 minutes just waiting... Bill was above the average. But the taste of dish and the size of portion was really good. If there would be a next visit - I would order in advance and take it...
Read moreI've been to Central Asia, and from the moment you sit down at this restaurant the way the waitstaff passive-aggressively ignores you is exactly how I remember it. .
Not only this, but the absence of key representative items listed on the menu cannot be understated. Samsa? Niet. Laghman? Niet. Shashlyk? Niet. Kompot? Niet. Kvas? Niet. Ayran? Niet.
"Tell me what you DO have, then?" is how I recommend you order.
These attributes combined, I can without hesitation say that this restaurant is absolutely authentic - and this is what you are looking for.
FYI the item shortage is apparently attributed to the fact that Tuesdays/Wednesdays are the first day(s) back from their weekly Monday holiday. Therefore if there are many customers, the solo chef cannot prepare these items before dinner time. However I was assured that from Thursday onward, most of the menu would be available.
The food itself is outstanding. The flavors are precisely how they taste back in the old country. Albeit not Central Asian cuisine, the beef stroganoff is a highly recommended item.
Come to EuroAsia for a nostalgic visit of what amazing tasting food with ambiguously demeanored staff is truly like 🇰🇿 🇰🇬 🇹🇯...
