i got strawberries (red and actually sweet!) here and guess what they sell f r e s h smoothies they have leek, beets, and on and on and on! beets are healthy for you and cooking them will lose a lot of those nutrients so the smoothie will help you be healthy! they also sell sandwiches (didn't try because i had already eaten) 11am-8pm. the staff here is super nice theyre welcoming, informative and enthusiastic :) love this store

I love Grow the Produce Shop as my “go to” neighborhood market. Amazingly high quality fresh produce and meats. They have delicious grab n go premade options as well. Best of all, it’s the most exciting wine, beer, and spirits program in the area. The selection is so much better than your standard mass market option. It feels both old-school and trendy at the same time. Glad you’re in my hood!

Small, quaint, clean shop. It's got locally sourced products all over the store. So it helps with supporting vendors from the area. Meaning it is well stocked in products that you would find at some high end known chain stores. They also have their own deli and juice shop inside where you can get fresh pressed meals, sandwiches, and juices.

I’ve Visited This Location On Multiple Occasions & Everytime It’s Something New!! I’m African American & As Stated By Other People Of Color In These Reviews This Place Is Extremely Racist & Proudly Discriminate Against People Of Color! I’ve Seen Cashiers Help & Service Non-POC With A Smile & Great Attitude Then When Myself Or Another Person Of Color Ask It’s Met With Attitude & Rudeness! They Pick & Choose What Service They Want To Provide Based On How Ppl Look Which Is Disgusting To Do As A Business That’s In A Neighborhood With People Of All Shapes & Colors! The Owner Is A Middle Age White Man Who’s Said He’ll Fix The Issue But Nothing Ever Happens, Which Make Me Believe He’s Just As Much Of The Problem! So I Say All This To Say DON’T SHOP HERE! Take Your Money To Businesses That’ll Appreciate You!! WORSE...

Most of my experiences shopping here have been pleasant and satisfactory. Usually I’m met by kind and helpful staff and a great selection of produce and grocery products. Really appreciate the grocery outlet it provides to the Arts District. Not sure if this was a relatively new hire but my latest experience was met by an extremely rude woman working the cash register. My boyfriend had accidentally dropped an avocado when bagging the groceries after paying. The staff made us separately pay again to get a new avocado and completed the transaction with extreme coldness and an unnerving death stare. I hope she was just having a horrendous day and does not treat future customers in the same manner. Grow, I hope that the kindness of your main staff members can be implemented in training...

Do not go here. My sister (both black Haitian Americans) and I live within walking distance and used to use this market for lunch items for the last year. Every time we go in, we are followed by the security guard. At first, I thought the actual guard was prejudiced and eventually after seeing us often would relent. But consistently over the past 100 or more times we've both been, a security guard or worker follows us and ONLY us in the store. Yeah, never giving them my money again. The convenience of the market overshadowed the hefty price for regular items at first. But, now, I don't want to feel like a 2nd class citizen every time...
