First of all, let me start off by saying I'm a bit of a beer snob.
And I'm a huge Porter and Stout girl which, arts district brewing does not offer, so I was immediately disappointed.
That being said, it was a great location that was very fun with lots of family/group entertainment. I ended up having a michelada with one of their light beers and it was a beautifully balanced well done michelada. The rest of our group pretty much had a run on their entire menu of beers. And the beers were good for sure but nothing was exceptional. We did do a round of their dodger blue shooter concoctions and that was tasty. So definitely recommend that as the most unique to the location drink.
We did not try any of their food but from what I could see, there was a good little selection of tasty bar food options that people were snacking on at their tables.
There is a great arcade with Skee-Ball they also have an outdoor area that has cornhole and ax throwing which was fun. And a big shout out to the disco balls and the gold pipes in the bathroom. Very industrial posh. I love it! There is public parking right next door for four bucks for every 30 minutes which was convenient and made it easily accessible. If you're in the arts district in LA, I would say definitely worth a stop in. As far as the beer selection goes, I think there's enough there to satisfy most pallets. However, there wasn't really a standout Brew that separated them out from the brewery pack in my opinion. I have traveled to several breweries around the country and know my beer. I would consider this a very typical brewery experience as far as the beer goes, but definitely a unique experience to be surrounded by so much LA...
Read moreI'm giving 3 stars because the ambiance of the place and beer are fantastic but the service is horrible!!Okay, it's the 4th time I'm here and excuse me man, but how do you manage to always be in a bad mood?that is to a particular bartender whose name I didn't get because, oh! yeah maybe that's why they don't wear name tags here. Guy, maybe late 20s, brown skin. Well, I always come here because is a nice arcade bar and I love it, but I always have to wait forever to be helped by the bartenders (or even noticed) there is two really nice ones (yeah no name tag, it's a short girl, and another one with super stylish braids.. I've gone with two different groups of friends and they all received a very poor service. Last time I order a beer and the bartender got pissed because he was so sure I order 3 and I didn't take them, ( I agree boy, customer is not always right!!!! But gosh, if I'm telling you "sorry, but I just order one" why are you arguing so bad? What's the point? we know I'm not gonna pay for them) long story short ( yeah I know this isn't short at all) but he comes back with my change and had the nerve to sooo rudely throw me the money from far and walked away. Excuse me but that's just wrong, you don't like your job just quit. Even people sitting in the area turned and were like what is wrong with him! Sorry ADB I love the place but definitely get people who actually enjoy their job. I know the job can be stressful but really? At 8pm? Already in that mood ? Well, We ended up having a great time at 82 bar!! Here even the security guys are super nice, and omg they have so many retro...
Read moreThe visit started out fine. We were excited they were open with outdoor seating to celebrate our friend’s birthday. However, it quickly turned sour with the attitude of the host, with his arm in a cast. He refused to sit our group of 10 near each other divided up, stating they didn’t want us mingling. LA county doesn’t specify the restaurant is responsible for mingling of guests. It’s a max of 6 per table, 6ft apart. They sat half of us at the end of a long refurbished shuffleboard table and randoms at the other end, instead of our group. We’ve consistently hung out with each other for months. The restaurant put us at risk by putting strangers at the end of the long table instead of our own party. Then later falsely accused us of making other guests uncomfortable by walking around with our masks off. We did no such thing. 2 of us stood in the shade (near no one) because the table was in full sun. The establishment failed to properly shade the table for evening use. Courtesy, friendliness, and respect are still staples of the customer service industry. Your host needs a class on them though as he failed to provide any customer service. We abruptly left after his lying tantrum at our table. Thankfully we found a better alternative. They treated our party with respect and provided us quality customer service while still obeying LA County guidelines. They sat our party divided by the max of 6, but near each other. We agreed to not move tables, but they said it was okay to talk between them. Learn the rules. Learn some respect. You lost 10 customers after Saturday’s debacle at your...
