• Check-in was easy and well communicated - as it is a keyless property. Communication with Monica was easy and timely.
• The complex is unique and quirky, in a quiet and safe part of Downtown LA.
• The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The extra supplies (e.g. dishwasher and washing machine tables, paper towel, cleaning products) were a great bonus above and beyond the normal inclusions (like toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, etc).
• The property is within 1 minute walking distance to the Metro and Little Tokyo (asian food and restaurants). There are also a few cafes, bars and non-asian themed restaurants in the area as well. The only criticism of the location is that there isn't a decent supermarket within walking distance - no fault of StaysPro Cityscape Rental Homes of course!! We felt that this area is a new up and coming part of Downtown LA with new development and upgrades in this neighbourhood - so a new supermarket to this area is probably not to far away.
• Overall, enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks to the team at...
Read moreSometimes they randomly assign you to a bad location + worse room, even though you’re paying the same price. One of the places had a terrible location. it was near piles of trash, dirty, dark, and very hard to find. They seem to have several different properties, and each time they only assign you a location right before your stay. This makes it really difficult to plan your schedule, because you have no idea where you’ll actually be staying until the very end.
What’s worse, they operate fully remotely, so you can’t check in early or store your luggage anywhere. When problems come up, they often fail to resolve them and sometimes just ignore you.
They’ve also been really inconsiderate to people who face language barriers, for example, my friend, whose English isn’t very strong, was treated disrespectfully. Plus, they promised to compensate me for transportation (I wouldn’t need to commute if they just assign me to the location as shown on the website), but then they just stopped replying to my...
Read moreThis was an absolute disaster. The front gate to the building’s screen was broken so they left the gate unlocked allowing for random people to come in and knock on our door at all times of the night. When I reached out to several people employed by this company as to our dissatisfaction for the first night (we stayed two, unfortunately), no one seemed to care and I only got someone to call after calling, texting and emailing several different people and different times. This company has no concern for safety of their guests and never fixed this issue, causing for anxiety during an unsafe time (LA riots). When I called the first several times, I told them I understood because these things happen, but they refused to care about the matter or communicate. Do...
