Dear dog owners: This is not a dog park. This park is for people. The dog park is a couple of blocks away. Your dogs can pee and poo literally anywhere on the street, so why must you bring them in to ruin the only nice piece of grass for miles around? Even if you're one of the "good" owners and you pick up your dog's poop, would you want to sit down on that same piece of grass your dog just used as a toilet? This would be a great park for young kids to play and for lounging in the grass to read if it was not soaked in dog urine and feces. Having said that, in the kid's play area, one of the playsets is geared toward 2-5 year olds so it's great for the really little ones. P.S. I am well aware that dogs are allowed here. That much is implied by the signs clearly stating that dogs must be on leash at all times. Yet for some reason there are always dogs running around off leash here.

Cute pocket park in the Arts District. It looks like it is largely used as a dog park. The climbing area for children is small but it is nicely designed. There are things for the little ones and climbers for older kids

Nice design, although landscaping has deteriorated, and is mostly dirt. Residents mistake it for being a dog park, so most are unleashed, and part of the reason for the landscape is the way it is. Close to Urth Cafe

The parks not bad it’s surrounded with a security fence and separated between a dog park and the playground park and the playground has its own fencing as well. Picnic benches you feel pretty secure. Also, there is security on the premise you see them around, the parking is Kind of shitty, but you’ll find it. There’s a restaurant across the street. I didn’t go there, but it looked like it might be a little expensive! But of course it’s convenient and sometimes that’s just worth it overall it’s a decent park, I almost forgot to add there’s no bathrooms on the premise unfortunately they might let you use the bathroom across the street at the restaurant if you have kids, but if you don’t, you’re on your own, you could always bring a Ziploc bag in times of need you gotta do...

Arts District Park is now Pitbull Park! Previously I could only give the nice, newer tiny park 2 out of 5 stars because when I went a while back, there were too many large, aggressive dogs running amuck with no leash, acting like wild wolves, and one dog even got bit in the mouth by a pitbull and screamed. Several people were to scared to go in. Small dogs were obviously in danger. Something much worse is going to happen if the laws are not enforced. The park atmosphere seems to have improved lately, so I would like to increase it to 3 stars if this Google rating page was not glitching.

Gate hard to open. The gate appears to be locked and coded, but they are not: the gates require two knob turns and a...
