Love Hugo’s pizza! The only pizza that doesn’t give me heartburn. Even while Pregnant and suffering from terrible heartburn, this was one of the few foods I could tolerate. With fresh ingredients in a wood fired oven, this pizza is not greasy and tastes delicious.

Parking? None. But who cares?! I have my hubby drop me off, Round the block, and pick me up so it’s worked out pretty well. We drive half an hour each way just for this pizza.

Call ahead to place your order; They have run out of Dough before the end of the night. Hugo is great, and always...

A hidden gem in Boyle Heights. Don’t let the humble appearance of the place fool you, because I actually l found the front yard house set-up quite charming. You’re not going to get your mind blown by the sights or senses, but if you need to satisfy that basic craving for a good pizza with no frills, this is your place. You can get the “home-made” experience for take out so If you’re in the area I recommend stopping by for this one of a kind experience. Street parking only, but I never had any problems...

One of my favorite pizza in L.a! ⭐Found it during COVID when a lot of places were shut down or closed he was open late and making delicious pizza and wings with amazing quality ingredients! And very reasonable prices! It's a family favorite..I would recommend ordering ahead if you're in a hurry because parking is limited to minimal but def worth it!..the wings are a must!! Love...
