First off Rachelle, and the girl at the front with the short/ long hairstyle were nice and genuinely seemed to care. Which is why Iâm generously giving 2 stars.
It is 12:55pm 12/22. I am writing this review from the parking lot. My appointment was at 11:45. An hour and 10 minutes later Iâve left having received no service.
I initially scheduled my appointment in person on 12/9, I was in the area getting a birthday cake. Within 15 minutes of me leaving I get a call confirming my appointment for that day 12/9. I explained that the person mustâve made a mistake because Iâd just left there to BOOK the appointment about 15 minutes prior and that my appointment was scheduled for today 12/22 @ 11:45. They seemed not to believe me (as if I had just pulled a no show, but said ok).
Back to today. I arrived here early at 11:28 and waited for about 40 minutes before I was taken to the service room. I was doing work on my phone so I wasnât too bothered. The front desk girl with the short/long hair apologized for the wait and kindly assured me my nurse would be with me soon and that she was running late. No worries. Shortly after, the guy at the reception calls my name out and says âChristina youâre doing your chin right?â I look at him like seriously? There was another lady in the waiting area. Had he confirmed the service when I got there he wouldnât have had to inappropriately confirm that in the open. HIGHLY unprofessional. What happened to patient privacy???
Mind you, I was calm and never complained this entire time. The nurse finally retrieves me from the waiting area and I can tell sheâs very flustered, nervous even. Maybe because she was behind, but not because of me because I never complained. While in the room she seemed very unorganized and apologized and said she was from another location so she wasnât sure where things were. I said no problem.
Hereâs where I internally start to get annoyed. At 12:45 she says she needs help applying the applicator and leaves the room. Meanwhile the sheet they apply to the skin prior to cool sculpting is dripping sticky stuff all down my shirt and itâs been an hour since my appointment was supposed to start. Then Rachelle comes in, very nice , calm and confident. I felt secure in knowing she would take care of me properly. LITERALLY as SOON as she goes to apply the applicator the girl from the front desk comes in and says I wasnât scheduled properly and thereâs not enough time to do the two applicators I was scheduled for but we could do one. In my mind that made no sense so I decided I would just âcome back another dayâ. Honestly idk if I will.
From the beginning I have not had positive experiences with Laser Away. I chose to come to this location today hoping things would be better. At this point I will inquire of a refund because so far itâs been a hassle and honestly not worth it (coolsculpting). The only reason I decided to come was to use up the rest of the cool sculpting applications I have left that I paid thousands of wasted dollars for. Definitely have buyers remorse. ⊠oh they offered me a facial đ⊠they always offer a facial. Just do things right...
Read moreUpdate Sept 3rd, 2025: I came in today for a routine botox treatment for my crowâs feet and left extremely alarmed, frustrated, and disappointed with my experience. My appointment began 25 minutes late. While I appreciated the courtesy call informing me they were running 15 minutes behind, I was then taken back by a nurse I had never seen before. Wanting to remain optimistic, I went ahead with the treatment. The moment the needle entered the area near my left eye, I felt a sharp, shooting pain and immediately knew something was wrong. The nurse repeatedly blotted the area, and the tissue showed visible blood. She told me, âYouâre likely going to bruise on this side, just take some arnica.â When I got home, I discovered a large, painful lump with significant dark discoloration around the injection site. Alarmed, I called the office. Monay was kind and offered to connect me with an on-call nurse, which I accepted (after declining to speak with the injector directly). I sent photos of the bruising and swelling, and the on-call nurse reassured me by saying, âItâs not a big deal, the nurse just hit a nerve.â She further told me the bruise would likely worsen the next day and could last a week. Seven hours post-injection, the bruise under my left eye has expanded beyond the size of a quarter and continues to darken. I am not only concerned about the cosmetic issue, especially with an upcoming wedding in 3 days, but also the fact that a nerve was struck during the injection. Most troubling, however, was the casual and dismissive attitude I encountered. At one point, the nurse even said, âI bruise worse than that.â In all my years receiving Botox for crowâs feet, I have never experienced bruising, let alone this level of pain, swelling, and discoloration. While I understand there are risks associated with injections, this felt more like a lack of skill and poor injection technique than an unavoidable outcome. What I found most disappointing was not just the complication itself, but the lack of genuine concern, compassion, and accountability in the way it was handled. Monay did reassure me that this particular nurse is not a regular provider and that I will not have her again, but this experience has left me feeling uneasy and reluctant to return. I plan to utilize the rest of my botox bank at another location where I hope to find more competent injectors and a higher standard of patient care and responsiveness.
Original Review: Neda was excellent! I have been coming to LaserAway exclusively for my crows feet Botox for the last few years and while all of the clinicians are excellent, Neda was a stand out! I barely could even feel the needle was in, and her bedside manner was and A++! Will be exclusively visiting on days Neda is in MDR so I can have the same experience! Front desk staff are always welcoming, warm, and friendly. Genevieve makes the best cup of coffee on the west side and makes everyone feel welcome...

I had a very frustrating experience at this laser clinic that I feel compelled to share. I booked an appointment for Botox over the phone with a representative named Angela, who, as I later found out, doesnât even work in the office. I specifically asked for reassurance that Iâd be getting a new, untouched bottle, and I made it clear that I wanted to purchase and use the full 100-unit bottle that day.
Angela confirmed that 100 units would cost $990 at a $10/unit first-time client rate, and explained that 60 units would go in the forehead, 15 around the eyes, and the remaining 10 around the lips. Based on this information, I agreed to go ahead and purchase 100 units in advance.
However, once I arrived, the nurse informed me that their policy only allows 60 units to be injected in one visit, and that I could use the remaining units at a later timeâbut not from the same bottle. This was never communicated to me during booking, and using a different bottle on a future visit was completely unacceptable to me.
When I tried to resolve the issue at the front desk, I was told that if I went ahead with the 60 units, I could not get a refund for the remaining 40. And if I wanted a refund, I would be charged $15 per unit for the units usedâlosing the $10/unit first-time client deal I was promised.
This left me with no good options. Canceling the appointment wasted my time, and I was misled into purchasing 100 units under the impression they would all be used the same day. Angela was clearly unaware of the companyâs own policy. At first, the front desk staff told me they couldnât process a refund that day because they werenât authorized. I was extremely frustrated with the situation.
Eventually, after I got on the phone with my credit card company to dispute the charge, the front desk girl suddenly came back and said she would process the refund. She even denied ever saying she couldnât refund me. It turns out she had been emailing Angela and eventually reached someone over the phone who did authorize the refund.
I cannot recommend this place. They oversell, misinform, mislead, they do not know there own policy , completely wasting my time and putting me through a stressful situation that could have been easily avoided if their own representative understood...
