This is some of the best gelato that I have had in the United States. Not only are the flavors incredible but I didn’t feel super full or sick the night of or day after eating it. You can tell everything is made from high-quality ingredients and the flavors really last long after you finish eating them. It’s located in a small strip mall in Marina del Rey by the water and there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don’t really have tables on the inside, and it’s fairly small so can’t have more than a dozen or so people it in at a time. It’s a get in line and get it to-go type of place but the line moves fast even though there are a lot of flavor options to choose from.
For this visit, I chose one of their new specials, which was the Buttercream & Pretzel and combined that with Salted Caramel. I thought both were fantastic and I would definitely get both of them again. They have many different types of fruitier and more chocolatey options so next time I’m gonna try something completely different. I would highly recommend and will be...
Read moreI’d been eager to try Bacio di Latte for a while and finally visited with my kids. Having enjoyed gelato at one of the best spots in Florence and a fantastic place in Rome, I was thrilled to find that Bacio di Latte’s charming, clean, and cute setup reminded me of those Italian gems. In my opinion, it’s the best gelato I’ve had in the US. The flavors are a touch sweeter than some of the authentic Italian gelatos I’ve tried, which would normally lead me to give it a 4/5. However, compared to other options in LA, it stands out as the top choice. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The beautifully presented gelato was as delightful to look at as it was to eat, with flavors that lived up to the stunning visuals. The ambiance is bright and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a treat. For gelato lovers in LA, Bacio di Latte is a must-try. Based on my experience here and across the city, I’m giving it a well-deserved 5/5. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreThe Baseline: The Ice Cream/Gelato Baseline consists of having quality dairy product, variety of flavors/mix-ins, and serving quantity for the price. Handles goes over the baseline on all marks.
Food: The gelato is creamy, smooth, sweet, and delicious. The add ins to the gelato are top quality and it comes through in the offerings. The gelatos at this location were very well presented and were delicious (Strawberry Cheesecake and the Dubai Chocolate were great).
Service: Service was friendly and fast in preparing my order. I was offered free samples of the different gelatos. There was a difference in the servings we were served though.
Ambiance: The shop has a very classy, upscale look, extremely clean. The ambiance has an Italian/southern France style. No real outdoor seating but the Waterside is a great shopping plaza to enjoy...
