This is such an amazing idea and a really great class! However if you have younger kids (like 6 and younger), itās tough to say Iād recommend. Not because the class is too challenging but because the teachers/chefs donāt help at all with separation at the door. Like the teachers are dead pan, statues at the door with zero enthusiasm. So if your child has zero problems with separation anxiety then youāll probably have no trouble, but if your kid has any issues good luck to you. We literally missed a class because my daughter was having a bit of trouble and the teachers were zero help so we didnāt get to do that class. In the final class at least 4 of the kids were have trouble and again teachers were zero help, no enthusiasm, no hands out, nothing. They barely even said a word - again just standing there like statues. So thatās a pretty disappointing thing about the class. Otherwise once theyāre in they have a great time and learn a lot and make some amazing food. I hope they take this review and make some changes to drop off because Iād love for her to do another session. I just canāt make the commitment unless I know sheāll actually make it in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy kids (11 and 9) were so excited to receive our LKA knife set. When we opened the box, I was blown away by the quality and meticulous details of the knife set. My kids loved how each knife is clearly labeled with the level on the handle and they were excited to have their very own knife sharpener! I appreciated the QR code on the knife set that when scanned took me to the Knife Safety videos (genius). LKA thought of everything! My children remained engaged while watching the knife safety video and quickly transferred the knowledge learned from the videos to our kitchen. Honestly- I learned a few safety tips myself after viewing the videos (bear claw). My kids confidently chopped carrots, celery and potatoes to add to our soup. Later my daughter sliced Heirloom tomatoes and Romaine lettuce for a salad. The best part about having this knife set is how excited my kids get when I ask them to get out their knives to help with meals. A big thank you to LKA for empowering my kiddos to safely use knives and for helping us make family memories together in...
