Noho Hotel (Listing Partner) — Hotel in Los Angeles

I checked it and the clerk gave me a key. I tired to enter the room and the key did not work so he helpped me open it. I had to stuggle to open it and had to push it with my full body to close it. The door did not lock which was a concern since I arrived alone. The room floor was dirty and when I went to make sure the bathroom worked the toilet still had someone else's urine. I went down to the clirk to let him know and he could only offer to clean it the next norning. I asked to switch my room and they did not have any others. I told them I wanted my refund and they assured me they would refund me the 2 nights I was planning on staying. However, when the representatives of Expedia called, they only refunded me 1 night. I was going to wait for the refund there but a strange man was there and I did not feel safe. They also claimed I stayed 2 hours when I only stayed 30 minutes(I can prove it). The room looked like at some point they taped the blinds and there was tape on the floor as well. The room does not look as new as on the pictures at all. I would not recomend staying...

It took the manager to finally showed at the office after ringing the bell for 10 mins. When the manager finally came, not even an apology but a frowning face. ||The Room: broken window that was taped; Burn hole on the blanket from a lit cigarette; Only 2 small pillows for a king bed; No chair or table to sit not even a coffee machine; not a single drawer in the room; majority of the corner of room & bathroom has cracks; sink in bathroom is partly clogged; ||And the door has a wide bottom opening that is easily a passage way for insects to go to you room especially if your in the bottom floor. ||I told the housekeeper to provide me towels that I can put on the bottom of the door or I will use the top sheet of the bed to block any insects coming from outside. Clean functional room. Good location near the Highway exits. Free coffee at manned reception. Safe, pre booked car parking included.We didn't move the car for three days - got subway and Ubers. Can walk to the local shops and restaurants. ||One stop from Universal studios on the nearby subway (so you can get there as soon as it opens to avoid the crowds). It's only two stops from Hollywood Boulevard. ||Would recommend the nearby Kontiki restaurant and Firepit Pizza. There's also a big Amazon Fresh store neaby. Corey's train carriage burgers in west Hollywood was also fun and we hired a Ferrari with driver from the Boulevard to drive us around the Hollywood hills for photos.
