I used to like this place. Ann did a good job with dip powder on my nails though she works very fast, faster than any other place I've been. On my third time returning she did the most rushed job and within a day my natural nail underneath broke as she didn't file it correctly.
I called to let her know what happened but didn't have time with my work schedule to get it fixed. Most of the filing on all of my nails was actually done pretty inadequately and as a result, this has been the shortest lasting manicure I've had. Then about a week in, one of my nails completely broke off and broke in the middle, quite awfully.
Upon calling today my calls were ignored and blocked. I called from a different number and she answered then, when, finding out it was me she immediately hung up and stopped answering from that number. All I ask is that when someone does my nails they fix them? I was also simply trying to come in for completely set and willing to pay for it. When I find a place, I like I stay loyal to them and I'm a little bit dumbfounded by the treatment. It goes against the conversations I had with her while she was doing my nails about her being real. I would...
Read moreI really wanted to support a small business, but unfortunately my experience missed the mark. I came in for a structured gel manicure and it was my first time at a nail salon in a while since my regular nail tech moved away. Seven, who did my nails, was kind and worked hard, but the technique just wasn’t there. The builder gel was applied unevenly, with too much product on the sides and not enough in the center, making the nails look bulky and unbalanced. The overall nail shape was inconsistent, and the gel polish flooded into my cuticles, which we all know can lead to lifting.
I was also surprised to learn that a cuticle trim wasn’t included with the manicure, especially considering how important proper nail prep is for the longevity and appearance of builder gel. I paid the extra fee because it felt necessary, but I do think that kind of prep should be standard for this type of service.
I still tipped well because I could see he put a lot of time into the service, but I hope the salon takes this as constructive feedback. If a service is being offered, it’s important that the technique matches...
Read moreTried out this place bc it's close and I just didnt have the time to go see my nail tech. Never coming back here ONLY becuase of the specialist (older woman with short hair & glasses) that did my pedi. Telling customers how ugly their nails are and how ugly the toe nails look and how she cant believe you like them and that they do better here, is just not the way to gain clientele and she just wouldnt stop. I get whats shes trying to do but it is simply rude and not the way to gain clientele. If theyre so good, Id like to know why she cut my skin while clipping my toe nails- TWICE. And on top of that she said she has a color I might like and started coloring my toe nails without asking if I like the color and tried to convince me to like it. Everyone else seemed professional but because my first experience was so bad w this lady, I think I will stick with my nail tech and make time to go see her. I go to the nail salon to relax but this place is not it.. at least the lady...
