Yes! And I'll be back.
1st, the gentlemen & ladies who work here deserve a round of applause. They're happy, and work well as a team. One of the guys checked on us to see if we needed anything, and he was working hard.
2nd. It's More than just dogs & sausage. Their hamburgers are magnifique!
Ringer, double patty: it's their version of a double western bacon cheeseburger. Served on the Hawaiian bread, you get this nice tanginess of the sauce, paired with the sweetness of the bread. And then you get the crunch of the onion rings, and it's just purely fantastic. It's like an explosion in your mouth of all these different textures and flavors. The burger patties were cooked perfect, nice tenderness, with a good chew and overall mouth feel. Juicy!
Build your own Chili burger: basically I wanted to try the chili burger, but without the egg on top. Next time I might have to do that though. Overall, the chili was great, though I do think it might have just a Touch Too Much cumin in it. I'm sure this is some kind of proprietary blend with their chili spice. Speaking of spicy, the chili has the most mildest of heat to it. I'm sure you can modify this if you place your order if you like it hotter or more spicy.
Tater Tots: omfg! Amazing! Crunchy, and not oily at all. I think their temperature must be somewhere between 350 to 360° F when they deep fry. It's the perfect balance of getting a good crispy texture on the outside with nice crunch, and yet cooked to Perfection so that they are not oily at all. This is my childhood in a 1 inch by half inch cylinder of potatoey goodness.
Breakfast Burrito: didn't get a chance this time around. BUT, a lot of construction type folks were ordering them even at lunchtime.
Atmosphere: Chill for the Lunch crowd.
Music: Mostly klos and kroq stuff while I was here for lunch. An occasional Erykah Badu song or similar sprinkled in.
Parking is plentiful on the north side of the structure. There's also a great outdoor Beer Garden area if you're a beverage consumer, if you know what I mean. ;)
In short, LOVE the vibe....
Read moreAbsolutely the worst! Food is great when they make it correctly. Everytime I come here they mess my order up. I have never written a review in my life till now. I placed a phone order. Got there after the time they said it would be ready and it was not ready. That’s just the start. They gave me my order and it was completely wrong. I returned it and patiently waited for a new burrito and tatter tots. 15 minutes goes by and still have not gotten my fixed order. I asked where it was. Apparently they lost it and this is after Maria (employee) was very rude to me. I literally said I have been waiting for my order to be fixed, kindly too. They told me I had to wait for a new order and I had to be out at the back of the line! I decided to wait because I’m stubborn like that. While waiting I was watching the crew. And two of the girls could not be apart from each other. They went everywhere together. Instead they should quit talking and help their customer see if they need anything. Was offered anything for waiting… nothing. This place is poorly ran. And has been running poorly for months.. if this places good measly so good I would never come back. But it’s at a point where I will drive further to the next location just to avoid this one. After 45 mins goes by a manager finally came and talked to me. 45mins for a phone order. Place at the back of the line. No respect until the...
Read moreCame here for breakfast before heading to a job site as I had some time to kill. Reviews said all this amazing stuff. Ordered the Fonz with an Orange Juice costing just under $20. Sat down at a table in the back which was dirty and looked like it wasnt cleaned from the day before even. Yuck. Oh well, it was the second table I tried, and wasnt willing to wander the restraunt a 3rd time.
Finally got the Fonz burrito with this 'kids' sized orange juice. Like what the heck is this? Im a 6'3" grown man and your giving me a orange juice that cost $5 that I can finish in one gulp? Not worth the money on that, which would explain why none of the other guys in this place had a drink that wasnt a beer. The Fonz itself was a good sized burrito, but after the first bite it was clear that this thing was just stuffed with as much processed stuff as they could fit in it. I admit I wasnt expecting an Organic Fresh experience here, but when even the egg looks like what I would get from a McDonalds for $15, I'm not happy. I ate what I could stomach as I'm not going to just blow $20 for nothing, but ended up tossing out the rest.
At least the girl behind the counter was cute, but sadly thats not enough to retain me as a future customer. All in all, a disappointing experience for the price with at best, sub par food. Pretty safe to say I wont be coming back here for any other meals when I'm...
