In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I am strictly here to shoutout NIGEL. I was here with my son this evening for a very important bonding dinner. From start to finish, Nigel was our SUPERSTAR for the evening. He politely greeted us with a smile and amazing vibe and took our order. When it was ready, he was the same person who called out our order, made eye contact with us when we heard our number, and energetically and warmly smiled and waved us in. He asked if we needed anything else, such as spread and peppers, and the vibe was consistent when we picked up our order at the counter, and "that was that" although IT WAS NOT!

As we were getting through our meal, he came by to check on us and clean up the area around us. We set our completed tray and refuse on the clean empty table next to us and he came up to ask us if we were done and he took it away for us (although we did not expect him to do so), and he excused himself to clean the area around us. We shared some small talk and he was on his way to do the same for all guests around us.

Before I left, I took the opportunity to thank him for his ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE AND POSITIVE ENERGY, and he was so receptive. He took the time out of his busy night and I made sure to let him know how we felt about him. This young man is a prime example of a stellar employee and amazing person. Everything about him is awesome. He truly cares about the quality of his work and the energy he puts out, and his actions speak louder than everything! He is the future of our world and he is beyond an asset to In-N-Out. I see him going very far in whatever he does and I am certain that will translate in to his service with In-N-Out. I can carry on and on about how fortunate we all are to have such a person of his caliber serving our community. Please invest in him in every way possible. He easily could be a Regional Director because there is so much we can all learn from a leader such as Nigel.

Finally, Finally, Finally!! First of all, I know this is crazy but, finally a location where the food doesn't hurt my stomach or make me sick! YES, I've tried In-N-Out Burger only about 3 times in my life and that's because each time I got sick! And second, finally a visit to an In-N-Out Burger that lives up to its name, customer service wise! Tonight was not only the best experience I've had at a burger joint and it was not only the best experience I've had at a fast food chain, it was one of the few best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant Ever! (That drive-thru was toooooo long. I know it's worth it but I had to get back so I went inside! Good Call, because then I got to see the people who work at this location in all their glory.) GREAT Crew that they've got working there! So, needless to say, this is the only location I will go to for a while! Until I find another just like it, and add it to my very, very short list. Took years for me to land this one, so....

In-N-Out Burger is a staple of Southern California living for a reason. Great burgers at great prices. The service is stellar with cheerful young people, ready to serve you accurately and quickly. While the menu is limited to burgers and fries, what is available is fresh and made to order. The only downside to In-n-Out is their incredibly horrible fries. Although they are made of fresh potatoes and clearly chopped in front of you, I do believe they're missing a step of soaking the potatoes in water for a certain amount of time. Their fries have mystical qualities that prevent them from maintaining any sort of heat. I live very close by and no matter how hot the fries are, once they hit the bag, they're immediately cold and flavorless.

I seem to be the only one that recognizes this curse upon an otherwise flawless burger experience. Most get their fries drenched in sauce or whipped up animal style. The service and tasty burgers make up for...
