Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I haven't had Chick-fil-A since I lived out in Pomona and I always loved their waffle fries and their sauces, especially their Heinz ketchup dip/squeeze packet.

About the employees - I just had to write this review because of this one employee that I didn't get his name. He was taller and darker skin and how he act towards customers from the moment I walked in until the moment I left after he poured me my refill. After I ordered my food, I saw him walking back and forth making sure everyone was enjoying their meals and asking if they needed anything. A gentleman with autism, who may or may not have been a regular, requested a lid for his beverage. When the employee brought the lid, the guy put his arms out for a hug to show his appreciation. It was really just humbling and I could tell that even he felt really good that he was able to put a smile on someone's face and get that level of appreciation.

About the facility - I love how their dining area and facilities in general is almost entirely new and modern and high tech. From their table side mobile ordering to even the touch-free trash bins. I'm sure their kitchen equipment is nice and new too so the kitchen must be happy to use it.

About the food - I got the spicy chicken deluxe combo. Everything tasted right and I was surprised as the nice portion size of my chicken. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I'd say my fries were a bit salty, but I should've made the request when I ordered.

I hope management sees this and gives the man a promotion. He was very polite to everyone and seemed happy to be doing...

When this place first opened up in Northridge I didn't know what to believe. I heard all the drama and political problems regarding the support for anti-gay marriage or whatever else stuff they supported and how some of my friends refused to eat here because of it. I came to the conclusion that this place just serves chicken and I cannot get political about delicious chicken food. Really...its just chicken man!

Anyways, this place might seem like a typical fast food joint from the outside or even the inside, but the friendliness and service provided by the staff makes this place jump out ahead of the pack. Everyone is friendly, give you refills whilst you sit, take your empty food trays away, walk around and ask how the meal was or if we want more sauce, etc. Very thoughtful and kind. The food is pretty good as well. I've only tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Nuggets thus far, but both have been spot on and delicious. The place has a variety of chicken entrees to choose from but I feel I'll just stick with the spicy sandwich because it was damn good.

My favorite thing about the place is that they have Coca-Cola Zero on tap and their sauce selection. They have about 6 different sauces to choose from and they make the sandwich standout because every bite is completely different. By far my favorite sauce is the standard Chick-fil-A sauce.

I want to start by saying that I’ve never experienced Chick-fil-A the way I did at this particular location and unfortunately, it wasn’t a positive one. My order was incorrect, and I had to return after getting home to have it corrected. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, the issue wasn’t the error… it was how it was handled.

When I came back to explain what was wrong, the store manager I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful. No one offered an apology until the very end of the interaction. My elderly grandmother, who was visibly tired and thirsty after being out late, kindly asked for a drink while we waited. The manager responded with, “Uhh, I can give you some water,” in a tone that lacked any courtesy or care.

I asked for the contact information for the store operator or owner so I could share my experience, but no one initially provided it. When the corrected food was finally brought out, I had to ask again. A team member returned only to tell me to “they said you can just Google it,” which was both unprofessional and dismissive.

This is the first time I’ve encountered such a lack of customer service and basic respect at a Chick-fil-A. I have no complaints beyond this experience, but it left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location. I no longer feel confident in the service or the...
