Dear Owner of Walnut RV Park and Storage Northridge CA , Key notes before reading ●$600 deposites are being taken while only $200 is written within paperwork. ●KEEP ALL RECIEPTS THEY WILL ONLY REFER TO YOUR SIGNED PAPERWORK AS RESTITUTION! ●You will not get your deposit until after the 21st of the next coming month because that's apparently when the electric goes in for the month prior according to them (not the case; spoke to LA dept of water and power 800-342-5397) ● take photos of your meter before you hook up and after. Was told they ouldnt give me my kwh used . They don't have that information. I watched them go around with a clipboard walk onto your site to read the meter and write your numbers down ● refusal to give any way of contact to owner of park/ higher up not even their name! I am still attempting to find this information. ● make physical and virtual documtation of EVERYTHING. Good Evening, my name is Melanie. The day I direct emailed for documentation after constantly being eluded when issues were not taken care of was Wednesday February 12th. I hope this finds the true owner of Walnut Rv Park. Communication with the park from before I was even settled in there has been atrocious and inconsistant. The day I was coming in, I called at 10:43 am to confirm what lot. I still wasn't given a spot number. I was first told my reservation couldn't be found even though I had the phone interview, had spoken with Crystall /main manager, given my card information over the phone, and got the confirmation the day or 2 prior. I put in to speak with Crystall the main manager multiple times throughout the day with 0 calls back or what I was to do. The employees still didn't know where they were putting me but listed a couple spots that were open. Still after 11pm that night I did not recieve a call. Even sitting at the front office. I continued into spot 101 because I was told it was open earlier. For the month of January I resided in spot 101. I submitted my Monthly February request between January 10th and the 13th after my paperwork was turned in. I as well had major issues with the paperwork and left remarks upon the pages indicating so with questions that the employees couldn't answer; but Crystall had to answer. (I never got a response or updated paperwork) I was told to put in my monthly request as soon as possible because you as a business try to keep their current customers in the same spot/ within the park before taking in any new residents. Come February 1st I went to pay and I had no reservation. I was not given any notice that there was no availability or that my reservation wasn't being taken. I was told Crystall was in the middle of doing the monthly reservations paperwork February 1st when I walked in. Crystall said I didn't hear back with the reservtion because there wasn't a reservation to be had. All spots had been filled. Maybe by Monday someone would be out and we'd have a spot but to look for somewhere else to go. She accommodated us a daily spot until monday at noon for the inconvenience so we had to make haste reservations to leave by Monday. I am still currently waiting upon my electric usage (kwh)/ cost so the residual from the $600 deposit may be returned. I was told I will get the rest by February 21st when the electric goes in and that the cost is the same as what the county/ state charges which is $0.28.6 cents pkw. Though they could not give me what I had used because they had no access to that knowledge. Not even how many kwh were used on the site. The paperwork states $200 deposit but $600 deposit was taken. I was told multiple times that's what they charge all new incoming residents whenever I questioned it (Reciept attached.) The way things are being run are not following any buisness model to ensure consistency or ease on either the corporations end nor the customers. True numbers that all sides should have full access to; should be known and thoroughly documented. Your buisness end has neglected to supply me with said demographics nor corrected paperwork.

melanie beurnier, I am having the same experience as you are. Also. Here’s a picture from Jan 20. The manager put out a Facebook post seeking to ‘help’ victims of the fires - only to raise rates in February over 10% and security deposit by 200% in January??? I was told there was a long waitlist. There is not. The entire time I was here in Feb there were ‘long-term’ spots available, she just only rents them out on the 1st. I counted over 20 spots on March 2nd. This creates an artificial waitlist and also adds to an artificial increase in price. Again, this is the closest physical park to the Palisades fire, in a decent area. When I made my reservation in January, I received a call from the ‘other manager’ who sold Spectrum internet. Whoever this guy was got my number from this RV Park, unsolicited as he knew I was moving in. She tried to ‘evict’ me for profanity for asking for a pile of leaves containing “cat shit” that had been there before I moved in, to be removed by the maintenance man… This is part of a larger plan to ‘divert’ people’s deposits after she increased them while the fires were ongoing in January. Terribly small spots. This is the ONLY RV Park I’ve ever been at that refuses to help people back into their spot for “liability reasons”. Every major RV park I’ve been to provides people so that you don’t damage anyone’s property. - This is a lazy manager making up weird rules, which is basically what you’ll find here with this lady. When I left on March 5th there were roughly 18 spots still open, and around 25 of the occupied spots could not tow their camper, immediately. The manager is very aware of this. Different rules and different prices for different people. Discriminatory housing at its best.

We recently wrapped up a stay of several months at Walnut RV Park, and it truly became our home away from home in the LA area. If you're looking for a fantastic, convenient, and safe base to explore Los Angeles, look no further! One of the standout features is its unbeatable location. You have absolutely everything you need within easy reach. As a frequent business traveler, the safety and security of Walnut RV Park were paramount for my wife and dogs. The park provided excellent peace of mind, and we always felt comfortable and secure. And let's talk about exploring LA! Traffic allowing, you're looking at a 30-45 minute drive to almost anywhere you'd want to go in the LA area. We especially loved how accessible Malibu was – our favorite spot to unwind by the coast. Beyond the practicalities, the community here is wonderful. We met so many genuinely kind and friendly neighbors during our stay, which really added to the positive experience. The park itself is consistently clean and very well-maintained, which is always a huge plus. And a special shout-out is absolutely necessary for Augustine. If you have an issue, any issue at all, Augustine is your guy. He's the "Mr. Wolfe" of Walnut RV Park: "I'm Augistine Wolfe. I solve problems." As a side (and little bit sad note), we were there during the LA fires, and we could even see the smoke and glow from our spot. It was heartbreaking to witness such a beautiful city, a place we've grown to love so much, going through that. It served as a powerful reminder that, as Confucius said, "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." That truly felt like the spirit of LA, and we were deeply moved by its resilience.

Worst experience. Been there 7 months and then they kick you out after 6 months for 2 days, according to THEIR policy, but don't care about law until it suits them. They only care about Foreigners and not Americans according to Amanda, the skinny one there .I paid full price for daily/weekly and they kept moving me to monthly spots so they can rip me off and look like they are filling monthly spots but I am paying full price for a monthly spot for daily spot prices. They will change your confirmed reservation to another spot if you want to stay too longer than they want you too especially if you are not a family but 1 person. They tell you now that you need to leave at noon and come back at 1 pm even though you are a long term payer but not monthly so you need to check out and come back. Monthly returners after getting kicked out for 2 days can come back early but I cant. They lie about you breaking policies when a 3rd are doing the same thing as they claim I am doing. At least I did have a license, insurance and registration which I provided originally but were destroyed in a water leak and cant get new ones since this place will not allow you to be a resident and wont help you. Only employees there who knows what they are doing is Marian and Augusto. Crystal was good also but they got rid of her. The people there have no business sense. They should all be fired since I was paying double the monthly rate and they think that was a bad thing. Sorry owner who was never around to see what goes on on his lot. James Nagy..Now recheck but what does it matter if I have an alias acct? It doesn't change the facts what I said and you didn't deny the people names I named off as employees or not. Also didn't appreciate having to clean the pool before swimming. Unplugging toilets at night since no one was available to work. Didn't like they have NO security and I had to protect an old lady from a homeless person. I didn't like that all spots are uneven and after my leveling jacks went out I was threatened to be towed after 3 months because the decides to move me to another spot after reserving the one I was in. Are you happy now so called owner, who has no clue how is business is being run but only cares if the recognize your name or not and...
