This is my daughters account because i simply don’t know how to use this google system. I am absolutely appalled by the service my daughter and niece received, they were very obsouly harassed by the staff at this store. I cant begin to explain my anger at this stores staff,but regardless of that i will attempt to explain. My daughter suffers from one of the worse cases of anxiety even international doctors have seen, this being said we traveled from Canada to have a fun trip in Los Angles. Bringing along her only friend and cousin. It is often difficult to even get her to leave the house to a point having to teach her myself from home. We convinced and assured her that this would be a fun trip that she would enjoy, as we expected. This sephora staff absolutly ruined her whole experice with traveling and makeup, in a moment I will explain why. So basically I told her to go shopping at sephora on us, simply to get her trip off to a good start because young girls like a little lip stick and mascara!when she entered the store she and her cousin went directly to the the scented makeup, beacuas who doesn’t love a good scented eyeshadow! So they sat on the floor and looked at the makeup in complete aw, they had never seen anything like it before. They sat there as they explained for about 5-10 minutes just testing the things out and taking it all in because they where in heaven! My daughter not knowing how store nessarly work she thought that she could just throw the eyeshadow she wanted in her bag that was not provided by the store. Granted she didn’t do the correct thing but she didn’t do it in a way to steal it just in a way to hold unto it to later buy. After she stood up to go look at the face masks that her favorite youtubers have been talking about for ages. She was looking at some mascara on the way to go check out the masks and she picked up a mascara,simply holding it in her hand, so as she headed over to the masks she gets stopped and cut off by a sephora team member asking her in a crude tone if she was finding everything alright, her trying to put pretend like the confrontation didn’t scare her used her acting skills and made basically a chan tee that acted as if the conversation was normal which to her it was not. She walked to the face masks and looked at the my little pony themed ones because that was her favorite show when she was a toddler, she’s smelling and testing out the masks as you do when the masks are more than 70 dollars for a small container. And another sephora employee came up to her moments after the first one and again in acrude voice asked if she was finding everything okay,my daughter asked if there was anymore to sample of the pink mask, which is her favorite color, because the tester was empty. The emplyoee takes her mascara from her hand, confused my daughter looks back that the masks. Sacred of the employee she walks to the next row, realizing that the issue might be being caused by the eyeshadow so she takes the eyeshadow out of her bag and places it on a random display and fast walks trying to get away from the terrifying workers. As she walks to meet her cousin to leave she sees her cousin being swarmed by employees. In attempt to save her self her cousin calls me so that i can hear what the employees are saying to them i was so confused for a moment till her cousin was able to explain and hand my daughter the phone so that i could hear it if they harrass her. So at this point the phone that i wa son call with was in my daughters bag so i could bear every word the employees were saying. They next come up to my daughter with the mascara that was taken from her hand in and her eyeshadow she but down. And aggressively insist giving her a shopping bag. So she takes the bag but she plans on leaving so she placing the bag back into a pile of bags. So as she ettempts to exit they hand her another bag saying and i quote “ if you pick up anything and i mean anything put it in the bag” so she’s having a full on panic attack at that time simply trying to hide it as not to make...
Read moreReason for the 3 star review is because I dont have any issues with the service or staff aside from one employee and EVWRY SINGLE TIME I come in the store he pushes his little button to alert the staff that I'm there the store is under new management with whom I know the woman and shes a sweetheart so I'm hoping things change because that bleach blonde kid needs to stop falsely accusing me of being a thief when I infact buy alot of stuff from sephora between gift sets and facial masks and skin creams and even quite a few parfums from various stores I'm not ok with him following me around the whole time and then ofcourse I'm not going to make a purchase because your making me extremely uncomfortable other than that I give five stars to the rest of the guys and ladies they're phenomenal at this store and very helpful I'm hoping this situation changes because I truly like going there but I'm not going to go somewhere where I'm gonna be ridiculed and falsely accused by someone who doesn't even know me and I could see if he seen me take something or even attempt it but that's never been the case and never will be looks like the rest of my xmas shopping will be extremely difficult or I'll prob just go to...
Read moreBeverly center sephora disappointed me. I shop with sephora for ages and the staff is always so nice and polite there. But yesterday that particular store left me very upset and disappointed. Their cashier Julie wasn't just rude...seems like she didn't know her job. Charging me over $100 for the purchase that obviously was twice smaller in value. Then I was very much confused and I started to ask the price for each of 3 items and at the end after a minute of thinking she said: "oh! That one wasn't your item, it's $60". I mean REALLY?! What if I am in rush and just swipe my card without looking?! Too bad for me?! Maybe! But isn't it what you get your salary for?! To do your job correctly?! Then I meantioned that some apology would be appropriate and professional here, but I got NON! So leaving the cashier's desk with my items I heard "as**ole" on my to the door...which certainly confused the next customer so Julie had to explain that "it happens". Really?! Happens?! In sephora?!
