On today, "9/19/2024," I was being subtly harassed and discriminated against at this public library, the West Hollywood Public Library for wearing a religious head covering. First I was being subtly mocked and harassed by an employee at this library asking me if what I was wearing was a shawl or a blanket. I answered her not a word of speaking in tongues because I was highly offended that she was mocking me. Why would I be wearing a blanket on my head? I left soon after and when I returned I was denied entrance into this public library by security for wearing a religious head covering. He claimed I was wearing a blanket on my head when I fully informed him that what I am wearing is a religious head covering. I am literally wearing all white for religious reasons and a white religious head covering on my head. Why would I be wearing a blanket on my head anyways? May the breath of Julie Christine Ottmer deny all those involved and anyone who willfully partners with them sevenfold until their spirits dissipate and dissolve for them to never return. May the ground quicken opening up underneath all those involved and anyone who willfully partners with them for them to rot in hell fire torture for all of eternity for them to never return.
Ecclesiastes 9:8 - “Let your clothes always be white, and never spare the oil for your head.”
1 Corinthians 11:5 - But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved. 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 - pray without ceasing;
1 Timothy 2:9 - Likewise the women are to dress in suitable apparel, with modesty and self-control. Their adornment must not be with braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive clothing,
Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. - 1 Thessalonians 5:19
Ephesians 4:30 - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Galatians 6:7 - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Matt 12:31 - Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Jeremiah 9:6 - Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit, they refuse to know me, declares the LORD.
James 4:12 - There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
Romans 1:25 - They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Hebrews 10:26 - For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge...

Read moreI've been to many libraries over the years, even decades, and so far nothing compares to the overall pleasant experience at the West Hollywood Library.
This is now my "go-to" place to do and focus on work (I work primarily at home), conduct research with the lightning-fast internet, read a magazine and periodical or two, and also utilize their three (actually four, the largest being a meeting/conference room) private study rooms. These semi-private rooms--one or two walls are glassed in, and one in particular, Room C, has a great view of the Pacific Design Center buildings and the Hollywood Hills beyond---are excellent for study groups, small meetings/conferences and also making conference calls. Each of the A, B, and C rooms can seat up to six, and a large white erase board and small display monitor are available in these rooms as well.
The staff is great, and pretty much adhere to standard library rules of great assistance and polite conversation, as well as keeping noise levels to a bare minimum. And since one side of the building has floor to ceiling glass walls, natural light comes in which makes doing work and reading for long periods much, much easier to the eye than those other libraries where either it's too dark or has harsh CFL or LED lighting.
Thank you to the staff and your facilities for making this great place available to WeHo residents as well as those in...
