I love Corner Bakery. Use to go to one in Buckhead Georgia by my old job every day and was so stoked to find out one would be by my new job. I went once and the customer service was awful and I waited a long time for my order, but it was busy so I'll give them that. So I tried it again another day, awful customer service again and waited so long for half sandwich and soup and there was maybe two people eating inside...still did not say anything. Then again I go thinking somehow it'll be different this time because how much I love eating there and again worst then any other time, worst attitude with the employees AGAIN and waited 15 minutes which was my entire break at 8 o'clock at night with absolutely NO ONE customers inside...so I walk up to the counter to see my panini sitting in the kitchen window as the front counter cashier is just texting away on her phone, so I tell her can you check on my food because I just spent my entire breaking waiting for half* a sandwich and some premade* soup and she said "oh yea sorry" and then someone calls so instead of letting someone else grab it or telling the person to hold for a second she takes the call for an additional 5 minutes....I wasn't even mad because out of all the places I have been I have never seen such bluntly open horrible service...who the hell is managing this location. Across the street is Beverly Hills and we have huge clients come in all the time and when they want coffee or a nice bakery I have to direct them away from this location due to how embarrassing they are. Someone needs to report them to corporate, they might have good numbers due to tourist but that is IT. The locals know how bad it is. I wish they would even replace the restaurant with Panera Bread or some place with standards at this point. By the way this is my first review ever for any place if that shows how bad this place is. ย ย ย Read moreI've been at this location 3 times, and each time there was a problem. First time, i stood in line for 5 minutes (I work at the shopping center and i was on my 15 minute break). I was the only one in line and the cashiers were taking talking, laughing, and by the time a second guest came, then they asked if i was ready to order. Second time, i ordered extra garlic bread. I received my food and started eating when i realized they didn't giver me the garlic bread. I asked the food runner for one and showed her my receipt and she droppeda dry, cold, garlic bread on my tray. Third time and last time i went, this guy, when seemed to be a manger or higher up, was taking my order. He rushed through my order, without asking if it's for here or to go. Plus when i asked for my slice of cake to be warm he still gave it to me cold, and rolled his eyes when i asked again for it to be warmed. When i got my food, i asked for to go containers and the food runner have me attitude. When i asked for utensils, she tossed it to me.
I will never order from them again. I tell my associates not to eat there, and when we need catering and the suggest corner bakery, i convince them to go somewhere else. You guys...
ย ย ย Read moreI used to go there almost weekly till now. I used to get the pasta which was good, I had a sandwich yesterday and it was nothing like the picture on the board. What really annoyed me was the fact that we both ordered 2 bowls of soup also which usually comes in a plastic bowl, she served it to me in 2 to go cups when I asked why and if I could have bowls instead she said they didn't have any available when I clearly saw a stack of them behind her. My mom is older and can not really eat out of those cups and she went back to the counter and they all of the sudden found the bowls. If you don't want to wash dishes you probably shouldn't work in a restaurant. The worker seemed annoyed that my mom would actually ask for a bowl. Again we go here almost every week and this was by far my worst experience..and you guys don't have toothpicks come on! And if management reads this your employees are standing around just talking when my mom asked she wasn't even acknowledged by staff she had to ask for assistance 3 times while they were just standing there with no other customers around and she basically threw to bowl on the counter! I did previously give you guys 5 stars. Hope you improve good luck...
