BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH AROUND! I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and just haven’t had the time or in the area and today I finally got my chance and damn was it good!

First-The location is right on the corner of the Beverly center street level. Right near Yardbird. It’s a small little spot. Mainly takeout and to go but that have a window counter you can sit at and enjoy the food and coffee. The staff was really nice and seemed very passionate about the food and the business. You can see and watch them cook as well which I like and they put a lot of effort into it. The menu is small but the quality makes up for it for sure! It’s a very clean spot and it’s everything I was expecting.

Second-The food was just so good. I love a good breakfast sandwich and I got the bacon egg and cheese (no cheese for me) and it was perfect. First they put a great portion of bacon on. And it was cooked perfectly. Not to crispy the way I like it. The egg was expertly cooked to over medium. It was on a toasted brioche bun with just the right amount of ketchup. I was very impressed and I should’ve gotten another one! The coffee was just as good! Which I’ve been struggling to find good coffee here in LA. Overall for the quality of food and coffee and the price this is the best place I’ve found so far. I HIGHLY recommend going here! You won’t be...

The service here is super slow and they only have one register running with lines wrapping outside the store (keep in mind, it’s at a mall with a huge hospital next door and in one of the busiest intersections in LA). At some point the line stopped for six minutes because the cashier stepped off and no one bothered to take over for her, I think there was a manager at some point (big guy with glasses, no name tag) and when a customer asked about the line not moving, his condescending answer was ā€œhold on a secondā€ as opposed to the standard ā€œthanks for waiting, we’ll get to you soonā€ as most people with any customer service tact would respond. No one here seems to like what they’re doing, your just another order on their line, guys on the line laughing about the line stopping and the food... it’s good but for a small sandwich and small orange juice that adds up about $13, you can definitely get something better anywhere else. Downtown location is a little bit better consistency wise and at least the staff there is WAY friendlier so it makes waiting in line more worth it. Overall atmosphere here is very dreary, hardly any music is playing and it’s lacking any excitement...skip it and go to...

Would Not Recommend! Not Quality Food / Poor Service / Unwelcoming Atmosphere

Ordered two breakfast sandwiches, asked for no bacon and chipotle ketchup on the side, second sandwich was standard Turkey sausage no special requests no substitutes. Bacon was included, chipotle ketchup was regular Heinz not homemade, no heat to it, gross. Brioche bun on both sandwiches NOT fresh, at least day old and dry as a bone. Turkey sausage was cold, cheese was cheap and without flavor. Eggs were undercooked and cold, no salt no pepper.

Second in line at 8 am. Food runner was brusque and did not explain Eggslut’s peccadilloes: one guest inside at a time, after ordering wait (15 minutes) on the sidewalk and strain to hear your name over a poor quality P.A., takeout only. Six employees and not one friendly hello. No napkins included for takeout only service. Oh yeah, second in line, fourth served. What gives?

Blaring T-Mobile store style baffling ā€˜music’. Parking across Beverly (?) rife with piles of trash and camping homeless individuals. No Q.R. Code for inspecting the...

We decided to grab breakfast at Eggslut, mainly because of the name of course! How hard could it be to make a tasty breakfast sandwich and greet a paying customer with a smile? With our puppy in tow, we walked from WeHo, ready for the ultimate brunch. Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by a "No Dogs Allowed" sign and the lack of any outdoor seating. Our urgent need for a restroom compounded the situation, but the restroom was out of order. So, don't bring your dogs and make sure to use the bathroom before you arrive. Inside, the place was surprisingly empty and the vibe was off. It felt unorganized and messy, with personal items stacked up on the bar. The staff's irritated smiles made us feel unwelcome. Our new plan: order one breakfast sandwich and head next door to Tocaya. It worked, and Tocaya saved the morning! They had a clean and extra nice working restroom, genuinely friendly staff, efficient service, and, as always, amazing food. It was the perfect contrast to our underwhelming experience at Eggslut. Good luck guys!

Small place with small with counter and a few tables for seating. Very clean restroom An interesting menu mostly breakfast selections, a few lunch choices. It also has pictures to help guide you. The actual eggslut meal looks good but we chose more familiar meals. The sausage egg and cheese, the egg is over easy on this so not fried solid. In other words eating on the go, might be too messy. The Fairfax sandwich has a wonderful flavored scrambled egg. I added bacon. The bun has a nice texture and flavor. We also got a side of potatoes these too are a step up in flavor. Service was good and quick. Very clear process order at counter and they call your name when it's ready. Not fast food prices but again you get what you pay for and we thought the prices were reasonable.
