What you get at Studio City Plaza:
decent Ralph's Fresh Fare - not the greatest but not bad either, meaning the Ralph's Fresh Fare in Sherman Oaks on Ventura is not only newer but way nicer than this one, but this one will do for generally what you need. This location used to have a REALLY GREAT produce section, but for some time, I don't feel as though the vegetable & fruit offerings are as stellar as they once were, quality wise. Decent enough, though, I guess.
City Wok: Tasty Chinese food place. Totally decent and fairly reasonable on price for what food costs now. Of course they've gone up a bit in the past few years, so not as reasonable as it once was, but still reasonable. They'll make you whatever you want to order, too, even if it's not technically on the menu. I walk in there all the time and just tell them I want chicken and vegetables, which they'll make even if there isn't an item called that on the menu. Menu offerings are good, though.
Card Heaven - In addition to selling greeting cards, the big sell here is they do custom gift wrapping really well. It doesn't come totally cheap, but not horrible, either. It's more along the lines of when you truly need a stellar wrapping and/or wrapping & presentation job, Card Heaven is the place to go. The two Thai sisters and the older white lady with greying hair are the people to see for this service. The tattooed, kind of effete mannered guy is "okay" at it, but not necessarily or at least not always with the same level of perfection as the aforementioned personnel.
Planet Beauty - They have a decent shampoo & conditioner selection...I guess....and they sell fancy looking candles that are a bit cheap & chemically in actuality, but make a nice cheap gift and I guess smell really pleasant to someone who doesn't know any better.
Rite Aid - no explanation required, really.
Wells Fargo ATM location
Baskin Robbins ice cream shop - Who eats this stuff anymore?
Some sort of mani-pedi place there as well with huge backed chairs. Might be called Nail Garden, but not sure. They must be alright or maybe even rather good at what they do, because the place often appears to be fairly busy.
I think there's a dry cleaners in this shopping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a great little mall with plenty of parking including more underground when the street level parking is full. There's also easy access to the 101/Hollywood Freeway with northbound on- & off-ramps immediately south of Studio Plaza's Ventura Blvd entrance, & the main reason I go to the Ralph's at this location. (Southbound freeway ramps not so convenient.) You can also enter or exit Studio Plaza at Vineland. I've only been to Ralph's here, but there are a number of other retail stores...
