UPDATE: Amy never contacted me, even though she saw my discomfort in the review. If you see any reviews that are 5 stars it’s with the old management company who did an amazing job. Moss and Company is horrible. We haven’t had air conditioning the entire summer! I haven’t been able to use any of the amenities because there is no air in the gym or the common areas and I’ve almost passed out a few times. This building is poorly managed and I suggest no one signs a lease here. The management will say they will address the issue but they’ve told me multiple times there’s nothing they can do!
I regret the day we signed a two-year lease at Wilshire Victoria. The management here is terrible and clearly doesn't care about their tenants. Moss and company knows we’ve had numerous issues since moving in, and their response has been consistently disappointing.
For starters, it takes seven minutes for our unit to get hot water. Despite multiple attempts to fix this, management told us this is "normal," which is absurd for a new building. We know this isn't standard, and it's frustrating to be brushed off.
The AC in the gym and the entire downstairs didn't work for the first three months we lived here. Now, it hasn't worked again for a month, and management shows no urgency in fixing it, despite multiple situations where I’ve almost passed out from the lack of air. We've spoken to other residents who share our frustrations. It seems the owner decided to cut costs by hiring less staff, switching to Moss and Company who has a horrible reputation and skimping on maintenance. Even though we pay monthly for these amenities, they refuse to compensate us for all the faults.
If you're looking for a place where management cares about your needs and you want hot water in your unit, Wilshire Victoria is not for you. Once you sign your lease, you're on your own. Save yourself the headache and...
Read moreSUCH A HEADACHE!! They’re very disorganized and unprofessional. The manager at 10700 Wilshire Blvd., Christine, is either out of office or not responsive.
I tried to renew my lease and despite numerous emails and voicemails, Christine didn’t get back to me for a month and a half. Finally, when we decided to move out because of the mismanagement, she wouldn’t take my notice and claimed that I was still under contract. I informed her that my lease was up and that she should provide proof of the new lease. She kept saying “we’re finding it” which is alarmingly unorganized! After weeks, she finally admitted that there is no contract and we started the moving out process. During that time they would ask to have people come over with late notices like 15 minutes prior to their visit on a weekend! When they would give 24 hour notices they were either late or early for the appointment.
After our move-out, they did their inspection and I got both verbal and written confirmation that everything is in order but my deposit came out 800$ short. They charged me for painting and cleaning fees. I emailed and asked for pictures of what the problem was. It’s been a week and I still haven’t heard anything back from them, despite calling and calling. They actually hung up on me on my last call.
All and all I would stay away especially because for the amount that they charge, the service is...
Read moreI highly recommend Wilshire Victoria Westwood Apartments. Whether you are in need of a short term stay or long term stay, the Wilshire Victoria can fulfill either need. We were looking to stay for a month, while we looked for something more permanent and we have now been here for 9 months. We are not in a hurry to leave because it is such easy living and the staff takes such good care of us and our needs. Nader was the first person we contacted when we called to inquire about Westwood Apartments. He was super helpful and he took his time with us in order to understand our needs. Nader continues to be wonderful, caring and extremely helpful in any situation, as are the rest of the wonderful staff. We love Wilshire Victoria at Westwood and we...
