My experience at the Jefferson County Circuit Court was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I felt that the facility and staff were organized, professional, and welcoming.
Accessibility & Parking The location is extremely convenient with Advocacy Plaza parking directly across the street from the building. The short walking distance makes it stress-free, and for those serving jury duty, parking costs are covered with a simple validation sticker—an excellent accommodation.
Safety & Security Entering the building feels secure with metal detectors and law enforcement present at the entrance. The officers are both professional and approachable—showing sincerity and respect goes a long way in making the process smooth.
Amenities & Comfort Inside, the building is well-kept and offers a variety of conveniences, including clean restrooms, vending machines, and even a café for food and beverages. Jurors also have tables available to sit and enjoy packed lunches, which makes the day more comfortable.
Staff & Professionalism The staff here are extremely professional, courteous, and always willing to help. Jury members are provided with attendance documentation for employers, and the entire jury duty process is handled with efficiency and respect.
Atmosphere & Experience Although the court maintains a serious and professional demeanor, it is balanced with genuine helpfulness from everyone—from staff to law enforcement. The upper floors provide incredible views of Louisville, the Ohio River, and even Indiana, which is a nice bonus during breaks.
