Jefferson County District Court — Local services in Louisville

I went in today to handle a simple traffic violation that happened a year ago, they’ve made this process so long and drawn out. I went in at 8:50am for a 9:00am appointment waited for 30 minutes until the doors to the court room opened then also waited until 12pm for them to tell me to leave and come back at 1pm when I arrived back to the court house at 1:20pm even though they all saw me and my attorney spoke with me they acted as if I wasn’t there, I waited to speak to my attorney until 2pm they dismissed me and sent me home with a court date 2 months from now. So unprofessional and unacceptable. Never got to speak with nobody about my case within the 6 hours...

I get that going to the courthouse is not supposed to be a pleasant experience...but these employees seriously need to get their stuff together. I'm convinced they pick strangers up off the side of the road and ask if they want to work for a few hours. I called and asked a simple question and was given a "yes", so I arrive, wait in line for over an hour, only to be given a "no". I asked "seriously? Why isnt nobody answering the phone? I call one number they transfer me to another one. When I ask a question they Dont understand me. Ive been calling all day long different numbers but no answer.
