Me and my girlfriend took him a necklace and ring with opals and dimonds in them. The old LADIE that works for him took my girlfriends jewelry to the back and said John would be right with us. We stood around for 20 minutes waiting then she finally comes back and said John would only give us 40 for both of them the necklace and the ring together weighs 3.5 gram's. Gold is $39 per gram,scrap at that. We had just paid to get it out of pawn 15 minutes before we got there because he told me he would give her a better value than a melt down. They are diamond switchers. They are bad business. So I needed money so I took my solitaire diamond necklace to little John's. The lady at the register with the messed up hair took a look at it then passed it to little John behind her who was sitting at his desk. The desk has a shield on it so you can't see wat is going on at the desk3. They had my necklace for a good 20 min then I asked wat was taking so long and they said they was testing it . He ended up offering me 350 for it and I declined his offer because the necklace was worth 2500. I went down the street to another pawn store to get another offer I gave my necklace to the jeweler who tested the diamond immediately in front of me and the diamond was now testing to be not genuine.
