I’ve been going here for a year or so and I absolutely adore the business. Their selection of manga from snacks is really immersive and provides a lot of selection and variety versus most storefronts that sell books or snacks! The most I enjoy is the atmosphere of the store — The layout is easy to navigate, the energy is welcoming, and it’s a safe and honest space where you can be yourself. Either between just reading to decompress, hang out with your friends for a bit, or just browse, it’s a space that makes you feel welcomed no matter who you are. Came on opening day with my partner and was pleasantly surprised by not only the large selection of manga, but also how clean and cozy it was! We came right after going to St. James Court Art Show and it was the PERFECT place to decompress after a long day of walking in a thick crowd of people. It was quiet, comfy, and everyone there was so friendly. The staff were super sweet. It's definitely a place you can enjoy comfortably alone or with friends. Manga fans REJOICE!!! Otaku Manga Lounge is here just in time for the winter months! Awesome location, great staff and nice selection of Japanese products, snacks, drinks, ramen and candy. Just like the cafe's in Japan - you can pay for an hour or more and read MANGA to your hearts content. HUGE selection of content, comfy seats and booths and a safe, clean environment for all ages.
